Story
Meet Capone! I'm a silly, playful, and fun-loving guy who will keep you entertained with my delightful antics. You'll be pleased to know that I'm both crate and potty trained, making me a well-behaved companion. However, I should mention that I prefer to be the only dog in the house, and I'm most comfortable in a home with adults - so no kids, please. I absolutely adore going for walks, and I'm always up for a good cuddle session or some playtime. Chewing on bones is a favorite pastime of mine, and I'm a sucker for treats. You'll find that I'm smart but a bit hard-headed, which can make life with me quite an adventure. Trust me, I'm even cuter in person! If you think I might be the one you're looking for, don't hesitate to ask to meet me. I can't wait to become your best friend and fill your life with love and laughter! Story
Hallie Boo is a lovely 3-year-old, 40 lb. Siberian Husky mix with a sweet, calm, and gentle nature. This beautiful girl has one ear that sometimes stands up while the other stays down, giving her an adorable look. She's easy to leash, walks right by other dogs without reacting, and is a joy to walk -a volunteer even called her "a perfect walker." Hallie Boo knows how to sit, takes treats gently, and is on the potty-trained list as she keeps her kennel clean. She's also a huge fan of cuddles and belly rubs, showing her affectionate side. Hallie Boo wasn't very interested in playing with other dogs in the playgroup-she prefers being with people and feeling the love. She definitely seems like a peaceful co-existor who tolerated other dogs, but she really did not express interest in engaging in play.Come and meet this sweetheart!Although she is heartworm positive, it is treatable and not contagious. Friends of Wake County Animal Center has provided a $600 sponsorship to help cover the cost of treatment.Hallie Boo is ready to go home today - she is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and is already spayed. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Story
Meet Foster, an 8-9-month-old sweetheart with striking blue eyes and a heart of gold! This resilient pup has overcome a tough start in life and is now fully healed, ready to run, jump, and play to his heart’s content. Foster is curious, affectionate, and loves spending time with people. He’s already crate-trained, has excellent potty habits, and is a quick learner. With his quiet and gentle demeanor, he’s a joy to have around. He’s also shown good manners with other dogs, though he may be a little too curious about cats. Foster is full of love and energy, and he’s ready to find his forever family. Could that be you?
