Story
This beautiful girl is Nora. She came from a recent cruelty case, here in the county, along with her two puppies. Her puppies have since found their forever homes. Nora is a beautiful one year old Siberian Husky. She is considered a miniature husky, which we haven’t heard of, but it was what the owner was breeding. She weighs about 35# and is full grown. Nora has separation anxiety from the previous situation. Her foster family is working with her to improve her confidence that she will not be abandoned or left. She is great with other dogs. Nora is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention. Nora is spayed and mostly housetrained. She sleeps in bed with her foster parents. Nora LOVES people! An ideal home is a family or person home much of the time. A fenced yard is required. To be considered for our sweetheart, please go to our website and complete the adoption application https://acfrescue.weebly.com/adoption-foster-and-volunteer-applications.html Adoption fee: $100

Story
Dango is extremely friendly, jumping on everyone he meets & veeery mouthy when he plays. For a Husky, he's surprisingly quiet, and only awoos when he's excited for treats. He's every groomers dream client; quiet and docile while getting scrubbed clean (except his paws!). He loves to lean his whole body on you while being pet & demands all the belly rubs! Crate-trained, vaccinated, neutered, housebroken & knows a TON of commands: sit, down, stay, leave it, give paw, high five, turn around, speak, do your business. Naps near you when around the house, but if he sleeps too much he'll have ALOT of pent up energy at night. No cats or young children, as he's too rowdy to be trusted around them. Other dogs of similar size OK. He stays crated when home alone due to destructive tendencies out of boredom. Pulls hard on leash when walked, needs an experienced owner capable of keeping up with his energy/exercise demands. Rehoming fee includes ALL his supplies: crates, beds, leashes, toys & more!

Story
Mando (full name Mandalorian) is a 6 year old dog. We got him from our friend in Raleigh in 2019. His birthday is November 5th 2019. His dad is German Shepard-Husky mix, his mom is a lab-surprise. He is great with my children, and tolerates my other dog that we got 2 years after him. He does not seem to be other dog-friendly, but we hve not tested that. Mando has increasingly been showing food aggression. He has bitten my husband once for taking food away from him that he got off the counter. He’s never show aggression towards the kids (15,11,8). He likes to cuddle and be lazy in bed with you. The husky in him will let you know vocally when he needs to go outside, and when it seems like passed dinner time. He’s been a good dog, I just can’t risk him hurting my children on accident with the food aggression. And since he’s bitten my husband, things are not the same with our relationship with him. I do hope he finds a home with time and love for him. He’s a good boy.
