We took Duke in from our friends brother. Duke spent 23 out of 24 hours a day in a crate because the owner wasn’t allowed to have him in the house. He was terribly infested with fleas, so I couldn’t let him stay there. Unfortunately I just didn’t know what all was involved in taking care of a husky. He is a great dog. He loves people and other dogs! Our home is very small and he is rather large. He lives outside but we feel like he deserves a better home with more attention for him. He also needs a groomer to handle his coat that is not in the best shape. We can’t afford that and he strongly dislikes any touching on his backside. Other than that he’s not a hard dog. He’s stubborn by nature as that comes with the breed, but he would make any one that has the time for him so happy!

Meet Millie!  My name is Millie and I am looking for my forever home after having to be rehomed to due to my mom’s personal situation.   I am part husky so I require a lot of exercise and someone that understands my personality. I would love another playmate with similar energy so we can play all day together.  I am very sweet and get along with all dogs AND cats. I love to chill and cuddle on the couch when I’ve gotten my energy out.   I do require a fenced in yard and someone with prior breed experience.
