Story
Loki is about 9 years old. He's fun and loves to go outside, but he LOVES being able to just lay down and take naps. He doesn't like to be brushed (he'll whine like a baby), and two seconds after brushing, he looks a little homeless again. He's such a sweet and happy boy

Story
Meet Bandit, a spirited 5-year-old Siberian Husky bursting with energy and personality! This charming boy is a bundle of love, showering everyone he meets with boundless affection. Bandit’s enthusiasm is infectious, but he comes with a “too much” gene—his excitement can be a lot to handle, as he struggles to calm down once he’s riled up.He’s looking for a special home that can match his high energy and provide the structure he needs to thrive.  Nickname “The littlest husky” or Frito Bandito! Bandit is best suited for a single-pet household, as he takes time to adjust to other animals and can react strongly to dogs during walks or outings, which may be misinterpreted by other pets or owners. His ideal adopter is an experienced Husky owner or someone familiar with the breed’s unique traits—Bandit is strong-willed and stubborn but also a quick learner who sometimes chooses to ignore what he’s learned! With consistent training and patience, he has the potential to shine. This athletic boy is an expert jumper, easily clearing 6-foot fences, so he comes with a Halo collar to help prevent escapes and track him if he does. Bandit needs an active home with a secure environment, ideally with someone who can continue his training and channel his energy into positive outlets like long walks, runs, or engaging activities. If you’re a Husky-savvy adopter ready to embrace Bandit’s big personality, provide firm guidance, and give him the love and attention he craves, he’ll reward you with endless loyalty and affection. Ready to meet your new adventure buddy? While waiting for his forever home Bandit is located in Summerville, SC  Bandit is neutered, Up to date on shots & microchipped.    To adopt: http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/2602/generic ##2508413##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jacoby is an intelligent, fun loving, adventure seeking guy. More than a few times he has easily jumped our 4 foot fences to go and check out the other areas of the shelter. Fortunately, he's also a loyal guy and will usually come running back once well call his name. Jacoby seems to be more comfortable with female dogs and sometimes seems awkward as if he doesn't really know how to play. Our girls, Lilith and Wednesday have helped him lean into his doggy playgroup skills. Jacoby, often called Kobe, is a little cautious with having a collar put on but has definitely learned that the leash brings good things! He loves treats and toys. He often tosses his toys in the air when he's inside "helping" our volunteers clean. He really enjoys being petted and brushed but usually doesn't go right up to strangers. We think he likes to play hard to get but once you start rubbing him, you can feel him sort of melt into you. He is part husky and loves to talk to us. You should just hear the conversations between him and our volunteers! If you're looking for a loving, handsome, GOOFY dog that would absolutely flourish with a little training, you won't find one more deserving than Jacoby!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.  Learn more about our Adoption Information here and fill out an application here.   March 15, 2026, 5:17 pm

Story
Georgy is a 13 year old Siberian Husky. She is no trouble. She is housebroken and does not dig or chew things. The problem is that we have recently acquired a new puppy. Georgy does not like the puppy. At all. We have to keep the puppy and Georgy apart from each other. It is exhausting. We had hoped that Georgy would come to accept the puppy, but that has not been the case. Georgy has a sweet disposition. But she does not get along with other dogs. If you want to adopt her, she needs to be the only dog in the home. We do not own cats. However, the few times she has interacted with a cat there has been no problem. We want to find a good home for Georgy. She has been a great pet and is like a member of the family. The only thing we want is for Georgy to find a good home. If you take her home you will not be disappointed.
