Story
Ghost is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet and will surely steal your heart! Laid back and very well-mannered, he's the perfect man to, say, bring home to the folks. Ghost enjoys an active lifestyle, with long walks and plenty of time to sniff out the latest smells. Great in the car, he is always up for a fun ride. And a treat! https://fb.watch/rmzWnrvSZZ/?mibextid=CmRSLE Although he is gentle and likes children, Ghost would probably be best with adults. Especially those who enjoy philosophical conversations about the meaning of life! Although Ghost is inclined to wonder whether being an only dog may be the best way to live, he is drawn to gentle female dogs and could likely live happily with another dog. Ghost's accomplishments are many. He takes treats gently and will not jump up on you. He is great on a leash, is house-trained and crate-trained, and will go into the crate upon request and sleeps overnight there without a sound. He has his silly, zoomy moments, like when chasing after his favorite toy he runs around the room. Very smart, Ghost would enjoy being mentally stimulated as well, and we encourage future partners to read up on some of the activities and training that will delight a dog like Ghost. Huskies are an inquisitive and active breed who can . . . um . . . pursue the wide world on their own if inadvertently given the opportunity. A large yard with a 6-foot privacy fence and time spent with fun games will help keep him well entertained and contained. This gorgeous dog will surely make some lucky family a wonderful, loving companion! HEALTH Ghost is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. HISTORY Ghost was found as a stray. His owners were located and contacted but did not want him back. Luckily, one of IAR's fosters intervened and brought him into the program! PHYSICAL Ghost is white with golden highlights on his ears, neck and down his back. His fluffy white tail often curls over his back.

Story
Hi there, my name is Tootsie! I ended up at the shelter through no fault of my own, and although I am a bit nervous about being here, I have been nothing but affectionate and gentle with staff! I grew up around other dogs, and loved playing outside with them! Of course, we always recommend slow and monitored introductions with new people or other pets in the home. If you have any questions, please ask to speak with staff. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope we can be friends!

This beautiful fur baby is so sweet and great for a family. He loves engaging with people and will talk to you. He says "I love you." He does not bark. He is just a sweetheart and very smart. He loves walks and play. I want him to go to a dog lover and someone who will really take him in and give him a good, loving home.

Story
Meet Frost; Loving Husky Mix in Need of a Forever Home! :) We adopted Frost, a 3-year-old, 40-pound Husky mix, from the SPCA. While he's been a wonderful companion, we unfortunately unable to keep him due to his high need for attention and allergies. Frost thrives when he has someone home with him throughout the day, and he would do best in a home with another dog to keep him company. He is house-trained, great with other dogs, and incredibly affectionate; a true velcro dog who loves to snuggle and stay by your side. With his playful spirit, Frost needs a home with a big backyard to run around in and plenty of toys to keep him happy.

She was rescued from a local animal shelter. Very loving dog that thrives on affection but is still slightly skittish. She is about 2 years old now and would do well in a home with a yard she can run around in.
