Story
Ghost is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet and will surely steal your heart! Laid back and very well-mannered, he's the perfect man to, say, bring home to the folks. Ghost enjoys an active lifestyle, with long walks and plenty of time to sniff out the latest smells. Great in the car, he is always up for a fun ride. And a treat! https://fb.watch/rmzWnrvSZZ/?mibextid=CmRSLE Although he is gentle and likes children, Ghost would probably be best with adults. Especially those who enjoy philosophical conversations about the meaning of life! Although Ghost is inclined to wonder whether being an only dog may be the best way to live, he is drawn to gentle female dogs and could likely live happily with another dog. Ghost's accomplishments are many. He takes treats gently and will not jump up on you. He is great on a leash, is house-trained and crate-trained, and will go into the crate upon request and sleeps overnight there without a sound. He has his silly, zoomy moments, like when chasing after his favorite toy he runs around the room. Very smart, Ghost would enjoy being mentally stimulated as well, and we encourage future partners to read up on some of the activities and training that will delight a dog like Ghost. Huskies are an inquisitive and active breed who can . . . um . . . pursue the wide world on their own if inadvertently given the opportunity. A large yard with a 6-foot privacy fence and time spent with fun games will help keep him well entertained and contained. This gorgeous dog will surely make some lucky family a wonderful, loving companion! HEALTH Ghost is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. HISTORY Ghost was found as a stray. His owners were located and contacted but did not want him back. Luckily, one of IAR's fosters intervened and brought him into the program! PHYSICAL Ghost is white with golden highlights on his ears, neck and down his back. His fluffy white tail often curls over his back.

Story
Luna has arrived at the farm and with her beauty and grace will surely win over the hearts of her furever family in no time! Sun and moon will pale in comparison to this girl's smarts and love as well as her desire for adventure and movement. Luna is a stunning mix of beautiful things including part husky perhaps and part hound making her lovely, gorgeous, sweet and so very versatile all in one package. An adult, Luna weighs about 50lbs full grown. She is the bomb with other dogs, leaving those who are more shy alone and engaging with those who like to romp and roll like she does. Luna definitely desires an active family who can go places and teach her things as much as they can snuggle and canoodle with her when it's all done. This girl will fill your life with love, adventure and fulfillment for sure! **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "She was very excited to hike and was part kangaroo until we hit the formal trailhead. Luna did best in the middle of the pack and on a longer leash. Luna knew sit and took treats gently. She likes parkour on would seek out logs to walk across. She learned pacing pretty well and knew to go slower on the downhills. Luna also loved playing in the stream". *Weekend Host feedback: "Luna is very smart and showed promise in her continuing training. For example, twice when she needed to relieve herself, she paced in front of us and then went to the door and touched her nose to the knob, as if to say "I need to go outside to potty." She is food-motivated, and already knows "Sit." " The kennel was definitely her safe space and she would drag as many toys as possible into it and fall asleep in a pile of them".

Story
They don't come this handsome often....Sol is a humble dude so won't say that himself but he is a husky, so likely at least has a few things to say at some point. Sol is super handsome, active and smart and is smaller for a husky at about 44 lbs full grown (though some of that surely is hair.) Sol is ready to be on the move, learn new things, be your best bud, talk a little bit maybe and overall be everything you would expect a husky to be. He has done well with his lady dog friends and would surely prefer those with similar energy levels to him. He would love husky people who are ready to adventure and be on the move. Sol promises to be soft, snuggly, a smarty pants and the best part of your day! **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "Sol was a great hiking buddy today! He was fine with being in the middle or back of the pack. He was best on leash when at the lead. He really enjoyed his time splashing in the lake. He drank from the stream on the tail end of the trail and was reluctant to leave after only a few splashes! He was sociable in our hiking group and was friendly with other strangers on the trail". *Weekend Host feedback: "He has such a playful side, especially when it comes to fetch! Although he hasn't quite mastered bringing the toy back, he's enthusiastic and clearly loves any game involving his favorite toys. After bathroom breaks and right before bed, he'd get zoomies-it was so cute! While he wasn't too eager about going into his crate, a treat placed inside was all it took for him to jump right in. Once he was inside, he settled in comfortably. In the car, he was a dream-he loved sticking his head out of the sunroof and taking in all the sights and sounds"!

Story
Meet Rhythm! As you might have guessed, Rhythm's name is a playful nod to her energetic and dynamic personality. Rhythm is a 36lb bundle of husky mix joy ready to dance her way into your heart. With her glorious two-colored eyes and sleek shiny coat, she'll fill every day with heartfelt harmony. Rhythm loves to follow the beat of her nose, discovering new adventures around every corner, so an active family would be just right. She does well with other dogs but would definitely prefer a mate who is as active and playful as she, as sitting around snoozing is only for in between romp times in her opinion. She is great in her crate and likes to keep things clean and is just waiting to bring her spice to your life! Fill out an adoption request and make an appointment to meet Rhythm - she's the perfect beat of friendliness, curiosity, and a love for adventure. **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "She is a lovely girl, very friendly and expressive. Walks at a good clip on the lead and was very good on the main road (staying to the side and not straying). She didn't need to be at the front per se but wanted to be with other dogs". "She was very friendly with people, but perhaps even more interested in other dogs on the hike. Always friendly with tail wagging! She loved the puddles and the water breaks".
