Story
Have you ever seen such a HANDSOME boy ??!! Meet STORM. He is 18 months old; full of personality; SO SMART; playful and very loving ❤ Storm is up to date on his vaccines and rabies; and on monthly preventative for fleas/ticks and heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped soon. Storm needs a family who is experienced with huskies and loves this breed. A physically fenced in yard would be beneficial for Storm to run and play in safely. He is still learning to walk on a leash. He is a true companion; expressive with his face and eyes; is very curious about everything; talkative at times; and eager to please. Due to his prey drive, a home with no small dogs and no cats is a must. Storm will probably excel as the only dog in the home, however with the right personality match, he gets along with other dogs his size. If you are interested in Storm please go to our website: wwwabetterlifeanimalrescue.com fill out our adoption application and send. We also require a home visit. We are on a mission to find Storm an amazing home.💕

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Jack was discovered by his finder in her neighborhood and she then brought him here safely to us. Learning that he was already microchipped, we made numerous attempts to contact his registered owner, through various forms of communication... sadly, never hearing back.??Jack`s finder was able to learn a few things about him while he was in her care, which we can share with you to try to now find Jack a new family! Jack likes wet food, and his discerning palate for such was discovered by his host-finder-family, when their dry food offerings went uneaten. ?? He knows basic commands and this 4 year old also knows that he doesn`t like cats. She kept Jack and her cat separate while he was with her, however he would like his permanent home to be cat-free. Seems this 47 pound handsome husky with one curious, sky blue eye and one soulful, brown eye knows exactly what he likes and doesn`t like; which is something we all can relate to! Although Jack is a little nervous being here, and let`s be honest, he`s been through a lot... apparently in his own home for some time, then for whatever reason becomes a stray, now finds himself here at the shelter! Even with his slight nervousness, he still does so well for all exams and interactions here! He met a similar sized neutered male since his arrival to us and gave tail wags during the interaction. He was tolerant of the new friend, but after a little bit he pawed at his new friend as if to tell him, `okay- I think I`ve had enough now`. We will require meet and greets for Jack with other dogs and children with whom he may share a home, prior to adoption to make sure it`s a great fit for everyone! Please come and meet Jack in person to see if he may be just the forever family member you`ve been searching for!

Story
Layla is a great dog! She was a rescue that I can no longer keep due to a busy schedule with my kids. I saved her from a pretty bad situation. She is great with kids and house/crate trained. She needs a family that has a fence for sure! She loves to run. She is very lovable and affectionate dog, she would be best as the only dog because she likes a lot of attention. Must have knowledge of the husky bread, they are not your typical dog.

Story
Meet Igloo this handsome guy is looking for his forever home! He has grown up as a stray in the community getting food wherever he could. It has taken him a while to get comfortable with us an inside living however he has made such growth in our facility! he has learned that people aren't that scary and most even have treats! He adores other dogs and playing outside! He's still very shy and needs someone willing to go at his pace. He is extremely sweet and deserves so much more than he's been given, and we are extremely excited to help him find his people and everything he deserves!Puppies 6 months and under are typically $200 and dogs from 7 months to 6 years are typically $100.00. The adoption fee may be higher or lower than stated however, and is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, medical condition and demand. All dogs 7 years and older are free under our Saving Seniors program. We frequently run discount specials and occasionally a dog will be more than the stated fee. Most cats and kittens are $35.00, however there may be instances in which the fee is higher or lower, due to age, behavior, medical condition or demand. With felines, we always have an "Adopt one, bring another one home for free" adoption special!
