Birthdate:  04/19/2016Breed: One of a kindWeight:   97.8 lbsNala is a beautiful and energetic older husky mix with a heart as big as her paws. She’s got the playful, adventurous spirit of a husky, and she’s always ready for an adventure—whether that’s running through fields, playing tug-of-war, or exploring new places with her humans! Nala loves to be outside, and she’s the type of dog who will happily run circles around you if you let her. She’s a social butterfly, always happy to make new friends (both human and canine), and she loves being in the center of the action. But don’t let her boundless energy fool you—when Nala is tired, she’s an expert cuddler and will happily snuggle up on the couch for a nap. Her signature "talking" howls and expressive eyes will make you laugh every time, and she certainly doesn't like being left out of family activities! Walk-ins are welcome! Story
Goldie is the most loyal and loving dog you will ever meet! At one year, this 50-pound Husky mix absolutely loves life and is happy to accompany her people wherever they go, especially if the outing involves sticking her head out the car window. Goldie is very social and so happy making new friends; she adores being with her people and other dogs too. Her favorite activities are running, hiking, and snuggling! Oh, and she LOVES to swim too. She has the biggest heart and will never fail to let you know how much she appreciates you. Goldie is looking for the perfect family to take her on adventures and give her all the love she deserves! If you are looking for a best friend who will bring a lot of fun and adventure to your life, please fill out an application for Goldie today! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Meet Alex! Did u want a puppy or a polar bear?! How about both?! READY THIS SATURDAY! To apply go to https://rnrpets.org/dog-application/ - and make sure to give us as much info as possible. DO NOT CALL RESCUE but if you have questions u can TEXT NO CALLS to 9146885499 - please do an application BEFORE texting Meet our 4 bros - Alex Axle Andrew and Anthony - 8wk old Husky Lab mixes who are going to WOW you with their cuteness and charm. These tiny tots come from our Kentucky rescue after being left at a shelter for no reason - just another oops litter that no one wanted to deal with. Happily they are healthy and adorable (of course) and having a blast in foster. Great with kids cats and dogs - just super sweet adorable and think they are lab dogs already. They are learning to be crate and house trained and to have good manners. Husky mixes are SUPER smart so breed experience is good for applicants - they also require brushing etc... as adults so these are def not lo shed breeds. Make sure to research all the fun (and training) they will need to be the perfect BFF! Love dogs cats kids! Video and more pics upon request! These cuties are ready soon so make sure to apply now before others jump ahead. They will likely grow to be med-large dogs guessing about 65-75lbs. WE DO NOT DNA TEST for breeds so you adopt and love what you get no matter what tests tell you or do not apply... We are guesstimating that their parents are Husky and Labs (as we were told that by owners and mom def was Husky) but have not seen the father. Also expect to hire a pro trainer - as all puppies of this age and breed need proper pro training to be perfect companions. They have had their first vaccines so adopters will have to complete final rounds and have been microchipped dewormed and had all preventatives per age - adopters will need to do our spay neuter contract as they are too small to be fixed at this time and contact us when ready to be fixed (around 7m of age unless vet says to wait per breed or medical advisement). Minimum donation required. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in Bedford Hills NY - no exceptions.
