Story
Nanook is a gorgeous and unique boy around 2 years old. He is incredibly social and silly with humans, and his quirky personality is perfectly complimented by his goofy looking floppy ear. He is a typical Husky, in terms of activity and energy, thus would do better with older children than younger children.Nanook can struggle with separation anxiety when he is very attached to his humans, and can be dog reactive on the leash.

Story
Hi there… I’m Murphy, a 1yo chap full of life and energy. I’m a bit of a goofball, always ready to play and have fun. But don't be fooled, I'm not just about play, I’m working hard on my training too. I'm a friendly guy, I get along with other dogs just fine. But cats? Not so much, they're just not my cup of tea. I'd prefer a home with teens or older, they can keep up with my playful antics. I am visually impaired and may not see the world like you do, but that doesn't stop me from loving life and those around me. Adopt me and I promise to fill your life with joy, laughter, and unconditional love. Every home needs a Murphy!!

Hi there! I'm Aspen, a young and playful fellow with a heart full of love. My days are filled with joy and I'm always ready for a game of fetch or a brisk walk. I'm a bit goofy and that's part of my charm. I'm friendly to everyone I meet and I love making new friends. I'm looking for an active family who can help me learn and grow. I'm working on my manners, but I promise l'm a quick learner. I just need a bit of structure and patience. Adopting me means gaining a loyal companion who'll bring fun and happiness to your home. I'm ready to start a new chapter in my life, are you ready to be part of it?

Story
Meet Goldie, a sweet 50 pound 1 year old husky waiting for her forever home. She was rescued from a puppy mill with her mama and believe us when we say this girl is PURE GOLD! She is the most loyal and loving dog you will ever meet! Goldie may be a little shy when you first meet her but she is the biggest lover when she gets to know you. She loves other dogs and people and makes friends everywhere she goes! Goldie’s favorite thing to do is be outside taking a long walk or simply running around the yard. Goldie absolutely loves life and will make you laugh all day long, the only thing she asks for in return is lots of belly rubs!! Also, did I mention just how much she loves water & jumping in the pool for a swim? If you are looking for a best friend who will bring a lot of fun and adventure to your life, please fill out an application for Goldie today! To Adopt (or foster-to-adopt), please complete the adoption application here: https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application To Foster, please complete the foster application here: https://anewchancear.org/foster/fostering-application/ Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hello Husky lovers! This is Emily. She is 6 years old. 50 pounds and, most importantly, the beautiful, loving, loyal companion you have been looking for. Emily has spent her whole life as a puppy mill mama and is now hoping to find a quiet, loving home where she can be taken care of and just be a regular dog. She is extraordinarily loving and affectionate despite all the years she spent as a breeding dog. She loves to snuggle, get belly rubs and take rides in the car. She walks well on leash but a fenced in a yard would be a plus so she can have the space to be a true husky after having spent her life caged up. Emily can be dog specific and so a home where she can be top dog would be best. If you are looking for an amazing new best friend, this girl's for you!
