Story
Sally is about 5 years old, and she weighs 60 pounds. This girl is a typical husky - she has a lot of energy, and she is looking for a home without cats! She has a sweet personality, and knows how to sit for treats. Sally comes to us from a foster home where she did well with children and other dogs. Sally must meet any resident dog(s) in a potential new home, to make sure they get along. * Sally qualifies for the shelter's Adult Companion program, for approved adopters aged 50+

Story
Precious Tali is a 7 year-old, 50-lb. red Siberian husky. She is losing her home due to her dad's long term illness and inability to continue caring for her. This is a heartbreaking decision for her family as they love her very much. Tali must go on long, daily walks. Tali is crate-trained (and will put herself to bed), house-trained, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She does not bark much, but does like to talk. Tali has humorous quirks like "stealing" items such as magazines or the tv remote control, and then requesting to "trade" those items for a treat. She is one funny girl who will warm your heart with her silliness and her sweet personality. Tali gets along with other doggies, She would do well in a family without small or young children. Experience with Siberians is preferred. Please reach out to us at fanabalasanctuary@gmail.com if you would like to make this special girl a part of your family. * INDOOR HOME ONLY

Story
your standard high energy husky but he's not super vocal unless he's being ignored. with family and close friends he's a dream dog. playful and gentle but once someone he's unfamiliar with gets to close he shut downs and becomes rigid and gives warning growls. he's never bitten family but has bitten pet sitters groomers and vets time and time again. . the reason I'm putting him up for rehoming is he starting to show aggression to often and the townhomes where I live are very populated. I cant risk him biting someone else child or mine.

Story
Cairo (pronounced Ky-ro) is a 3.5 year old husky shepherd mix that we have owned since he was an 8 week old puppy. He is a very happy, energetic, and smart dog who loves to learn and explore. We need to rehome him because we have a 13 month old toddler and a baby on the way and he is not able to get the attention and stimulation he needs and deserves. He is house broken, crate trained (although we leave him out when we leave the house), great with our older dog and cats. He knows all basic commands and many tricks. We also can hike with him off leash keeping him at a close distance. He has zero health issues. He takes time to get comfortable with new people and dogs. He deserves more than we are able to give him and it is a difficult choice but it would be better in the long run. He would make a great outdoor companion and snuggle buddy. Tons more to add but limited. Please contact if interested! He comes with everything you will need! Email antonia.thomas.0111@gmail.com

Story
Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption only, in San Antonio or TX area, $200.
