Story
Diamond is a 7 year old female Husky.Diamond is just a perfect girl who is waiting for her furever people to come around and give her that special connection she craves. She loves to go on long walks with lots of scents and she loves to give hugs. Diamond is always alert and cautious of her surroundings. Your safety and her safety are her top priorities. Although she is a little shy when you first meet her, she opens up if you offer her some peanut butter, so gently licking it off the spoon. Diamond knows how to walk very well on a leash and definitely knows her leash manners. Diamond would do fine in a home with certain dogs, and without cats or children. Story
Zuko came to us as a stray who had gotten very used to roaming free. He has grown more and more accustomed to leash walking and some confinement, but he remains a true husky at heart. He loves to roam and explore and will require as much space, supervised roaming and fulfillment as possible. He can be very playful with his sister, Azula, with a very “rough and tumble” play style. He will generally shy away from initial contact  and benefits from patient handling. Zuko will be a great match for someone with the patience to form a deep lasting bond, and an active , outdoor lifestyle. If this sounds like you, Zuko is ready to explore the world with you!     APPROXIMATE WEIGHT:  35 ESTIMATED DOB:  9/27/2023 GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS:  selective GOOD WITH KIDS:  yes GOOD WITH CATS:  no REQUIRES A FENCE:  no ACTIVITY LEVEL:  high LIKES TO VOCALIZE:  yes SPECIAL NEEDS:  no BREED EXPERIENCE NEEDED:  no APPROPRIATE PLACEMENT FOR 1ST TIME DOG OWNER?  No FREE OBEDIENCE TRAINING IS OFFERED WITH ALL DOG ADOPTIONS &#226&#128&#139Please note that we are often asked if dogs are "house trained".  The dogs are in fact living in a kennel environment during their time with us.  Even if they have previously lived in a home and been trained - the stress of the change and the new home can sometimes cause regression and require some additional training.  We feel that it's best for all adopters to be prepared for this possibility. Visit our adoption page for details about our process, and to fill out an adoption application.  All animals come spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped.  If the animals age or health prevents any of these from being completed prior to adoption a voucher is issued for the services to be performed.  If you have any questions about the animal, or our adoption process, please email adopt@littleguild.org.  The Little Guild is a 501c(3) federally recognized non-profit organization devoted to saving the lives of homeless pets.  November 19, 2024, 12:28 pm
