Story
Mama Roxie found herself is a scary situation, pregnant and on the streets of Dallas TX.  But now she is living her best life in an upstate NY foster home.  Roxie had a DNA test where we learned she was 37% husky (plus alot of other breeds!).  She is just under 4 years old and learning how to just be a happy dog - she seems to really love men and would do great with an active young guy!   She is doing well learning the basics and is very smart - Roxie will make an amazing companion we know it!.  She is good with other dogs and is a happy go lucky social girl.  She would also prefer a kitty free house.   All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada. Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Story
Rocky is doing well settling into his upstate NY foster home. Coming to us from the Texas scrapyard family. Rocky is a custom Texas street dog mix - not really sure exactly but mom is a Huskymix that we do know! He would definitely do well with an home with another dog as he loves other dogs. He is around 5months old, great with kids too and loves the resident kiddo! He is learning all his puppy 101 and doing great. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Story
Tucker is a true gentleman—loving, protective, and eager to build his confidence with new experiences. He enjoys the company of his foster siblings and would thrive with another dog, though he’d be just as happy as the only pup in the household. He loves swimming, exploring the outdoors, and experiencing all four seasons—sunshine, fall, rain, and snow! ??????? Currently in a foster home in upstate NY, Tucker is about 65lbs and gets along well with both dogs and cats and would be best in a child free home. He does best with new people when introduced slowly to give him time to adjust and feel comfortable. Story
Max is a god boy and is very energetic but will lay down and go to bed nicely when it’s time for bed. He loves to cuddle, play and going for walks. Very good with kids, lets you bath and groom him without any issues. He’s two years old. Crate trained and house trained. Also will enjoy the car rides. Unfortunately, For some reason my son and I are very allergic to him and it’s becoming more than we can continue to tolerate. We would love to see him go to a family who has plenty of time to dedicate to him and give him all the love he needs.

Story
It’s time for our foster Balto to start looking for his new family! Balto is a 3-4 year old husky/husky mix. He is 35-40 lbs, so on the smaller side. Balto’s previous family had to get rid of him due to housing issues so we offered to take him in and help find him placement. We did have him neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Balto would love to find a husky loving family! Pros: 💥House-trained 💥Fantastic with other dogs 💥Good with dog savvy cats 💥Neutral/uninterested in the livestock 💥Outdoorsy dog, great for hiking 💥Loves to cuddle 💥Knows sit & shake 💥Respectful of a 4 foot fence 💥Lived with kids 3+ Cons: 💥Anxious when crated, mild separation anxiety. Previous family didn’t crate him. He is making improvements with being crated with us. He may at some point benefit from a low dose of anxiety medication. 💥Vocal 💥Poor recall, he will need to be kept on leash or in a fenced area.
