Appointments are 7 days a week and most holidays as long as someone is available to see you. If you get voicemail, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can! Many of our locations offer crates, playpens and starter kits (leash, collar, food, toys, treats, bowl etc) for a donation. We do same day adoptions. An application is required before coming to visit our adoptable dogs. She came to us last year from the streets of Dallas, Texas, where she arrived with her pups in tow. Now about 5 years old, spayed, fully vetted, and officially heartworm free, Roxie is ready for her happily-ever-after. This sweet, happy girl loves to play and already knows her basics—she’s a real smarty pants! She gets along well with other dogs and kids, but would do best in a cat-free home. Zena came to us through our cruelty department and weighs about 54 pounds. She`s a bit on the skittish side and takes a bit to warm up to people but has a fun loving personality hiding under the stress of the shelter and has been more excited lately to see the volunteers she knows. She likes to splash around in pools in the summer and has a great time on walks even with new people and even through a foot of snow. Zena is slowly coming out of her shell and would be a wonderful dog for people with patience to let her do so.
