Story
Bear is an adventurous 1 year old copper Siberian Husky, rescued at just 5.5 weeks old from a box at Haynes Park in the fall of 2023. Shes a friendly and submissive dog who, despite being skittish around new dogs, warms up quickly and becomes playful after about 15 minutes. Bear is non-aggressive and rarely barks, except when left alone for long periods. Shes decent on a leash and knows commands like stay, sit, shake, and lay down. Bear is crate trained and loves playing fetch and enjoys running around during hikes in the mountains and at the Mesa, often roaming nearby before returning. Bear is great with kids of all ages, though she has yet to meet a cat. Her playful nature includes digging, chewing, and burying things, and she has a tendency to explore if given the chance, but she always comes back home. She is a happy dog looking for a loving home that can provide her with the attention and companionship she deserves.

Story
Nanook appears as though he might be a purebred husky. He is around 1 year old and currently working on gaining weight. He is fully vaccinated and neutered. Nanook does well with some dogs though he can be picky at times. Nanook is honestly a sweetheart. Despite being so young and his breed, he is relatively calm and prefers getting cuddles over running around. That being said, he does still have that husky energy and would benefit greatly from a lot of exercise. He also has the classic husky sass when he wants to, and you'll hear him whip it out every so often. Nanook does really well on leash, and he listens well to all our associates.

Story
Meet Bear, a 1-year-old copper Siberian Husky with a heart as big as her playful spirit! Rescued from Haynes Park, Bear has blossomed into a loving and adventurous companion. She's friendly, submissive, and gets along well with kids and other dogs. Bear is housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, shake, and lay down. She's a high-energy girl who loves to run, play fetch, and explore the great outdoors, but she’s mellow at home. She enjoys getting attention, and she loves cuddles and pets. Bear is good on a leash, though she can pull (she is a Husky, after all!). While she doesn’t hop fences, she’s a bit of an escape artist when it comes to digging, but she always comes back! She's currently in the process of being spayed and has all her vaccinations up to date. Bear is looking for a loving home that can keep up with her energy, provide plenty of exercise, and give her all the affection she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal and playful companion, Bear might just be the perfect match! If you're interested in meeting Bear, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot. Alternatively, we can arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with a completed application. Complete an easy, no-obligation online application and take the first step towards welcoming Bear into your home by clicking on this link https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155 The adoption fee covers all vaccines, spay, microchip, and heartworm/tick-borne illness testing.
