Story
I’m Rarity, a 1-year-old Husky Mix weighing 44 pounds of puppy-like energy and manners. A vocal girl when feeling unsure, it’s best to build my trust with patience and kindness. When I’m comfy cozy; I’d love it if you let me have my zoomie moments as I’m still a growing young girl at heart who needs her exercise. A fun, silly, loyal lady I will be for sure! The Monmouth County SPCA is open for walk-ins every day, starting at noon!

Story
With summer cooling down, we have a touch of winter here at the shelter with this cool dude. Arctic, with his piercing ice blue eyes, is the true definition of a husky; aloof, curious, and an escape artist, so breed experience is preferred. At 3-years-old, this mysterious man prefers minimal handling to keep his personal bubble intact. He marches to the beat of his own drum, exploring the unknown, but if that rhythm gets you grooving, then this may be your guy. At his own leisure, he may give some gentle nibble kisses, just not too many as to not damage his “cool guy” reputation. If you are ready to join his pack, the Monmouth County SPCA is open for walk-ins every day, starting at noon!

Story
Get ready to party because here comes Arlo! This 2 ½ year old Husky Mix weighs 73 pounds of festive vibes mixed with lots of fluff and drool. Bouncy with no sense of person space, this big smiley boy doesn’t seem to know his own size when he wants to lean in for cuddles. Toss some squeakies his way and he’ll happily pounce around while trading his goodies for a fun game of fetch. Muscles are required for outdoor walks as he’s one athletic stud-muffin. Since he’s not a fan of small critters or other canine buddies, an active home where he can be king of the castle would be a blast for this guy! The Monmouth County SPCA is open for walk-ins every day, starting at noon!

Story
Get ready for some cardio! Meet Zumba, a 10-month-old Husky weighing 31 pounds of Tinkerbell vibes. You’ll need to keep up with her as she flits, flies, and dances about shyly. It takes some time for her to feel comfy cozy, but patience will be worth it! She is sure to put a smile on your face as this silly girl alternates between seeking attention and zooming around the room at breakneck speed. A fluffy blur, you’ll want to always keep an eye on her, especially at exit points as to prevent a Houdini escape. An active home with breed knowledge would be a plus to understanding this free spirit! The Monmouth County SPCA is open for walk-ins every day, starting at noon!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Francine is a beautiful pup who is looking for a home. Francine is with our partner rescue in Louisiana but can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved applicants. Francine came into our partner shelter as a cruelty case. She and two other pups were kept in some kind of kennel or pen and were very skinny and dirty and all have flatter feet like dogs get from being in a crate/on a grate too long. They were living in horrible conditions but our girl Francine is making a beautiful recovery. Francine is doing great in her foster home. She loves kids and was friendly with other dogs. She did chase the kitty but didn't try to hurt him. An active person or family and/or fenced yard is probably best. Francine will be fixed, microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $450.   How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to  wagoninn.rescuegroups.org .
