Story
❄️ Meet Vale! ❄️Say hello to Vale, a stunning and spirited Husky with a heart as big as her personality! This sweet and vocal girl was found as a stray, and while her past is a bit of a mystery, her playful and loving nature has quickly won everyone over.Vale is an active, energetic dog who loves to run, play, and explore the world around her. True to her Husky roots, she's happiest when she's got room to move-she enjoys spending time in the backyard or relaxing on her bed indoors once she's had her fill of fun. She can be a strong puller on leash, so she'll do best with someone who can keep up with her strength and enthusiasm!Vale is crate trained and does very well in her crate for short periods. She also loves car rides, especially when she can look out the window and take in all the sights. This clever girl knows a few commands-like sit and paw-and understands both English and Spanish! Her favorite things in life are running, playing with toys, and snacking on all kinds of treats (bananas are a favorite!).Vale would thrive in an active home that can match her energy and give her plenty of exercise, structure, and love. If you're looking for a fun-loving, bilingual Husky who will fill your life with joy and excitement, Vale is ready to be your new best friend! 🐾💙My boroughbreaker writes: Vale lived up to her breed by "chatting away" (howling like a husky 😂)! She voiced her opinion to open the car window so when I arrived home I opened the window wide enough for her little head to stick out (see pictures). She has a brown and blue eye...she's just precious! At first she was very skittish and guarded. Though once she felt comfortable and trusted me, she was more relaxed to be herself. She needs someone to trust and then she will be YOURS! She responds to "SIT" opposed to "sit down" and btw then expects a treat. Eventually she was quite relaxed and enjoyed a rope pull toy and playing around. She's a husky so be prepared for the "shed" 🙃. My time with her was limited though I didn't try to pet her. She definitely needs to be reassured you are a "safe" person.Spending the day with Vale the husky was so rewarding and full of love. She enjoyed her time outside and was incredibly well-mannered and lovable. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 61.5 Age: 3yrs 1mths 3wks

Story
** Current location: in a boarding house in South Korea ** Meet Koko with two beautiful blue eyes👋 Turning 5 months old, Koko was discovered in March 2023, trembling in front of the shelter in Korea. His previous owner had left him there with a message saying that he could no longer care for him due to personal reasons. The poor pup had been abandoned without a collar or leash. Despite his fear, Koko did not run away and remained on the spot, waiting for help. Ever since then, he’s been living in a boarding house, patiently waiting for his forever home! • Personality: Friendly, Energetic, Happy Initially, Koko was very nervous and frightened during his first days at the boarding house. However, he quickly warmed up to the staff and other dogs and is now a very happy and playful boy. Koko loves spending time with his humans, especially sitting outside on the grass and basking in the sun. His energy level is high. He would be a great fit for a family who enjoys outdoor activities and can spend ample time with him. • Affinity with - Dogs: He enjoys playing with other dogs. No aggression toward others. - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Good with adults / Older teens would be more suitable for his energy. • Walking Manners: Not much experienced - in training • Housetrained: Koko will need some time and guidance with house training as he adjusts to a new environment. • Bathing/Brushing: Tolerates them just fine • Car Sickness: Not tested • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: A little bit when he greets people • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 7-8 • Likes/Dislikes: Koko loves running around and playing with his people and friends! • Health: A healthy boy!

Story
Meet Claudia, a 6 Years Old, 72 lbs, Husky Mix. Claudia is a sweet, energetic girl who’s looking for a new home! This happy, playful gal loves everyone she meets and is always ready for kisses, pets, and fun. She enjoys playing with both big and small dogs, though her size means her play style can be a little rambunctious. She’s never aggressive—just enthusiastic! Claudia is great with men, women, and children alike. House-trained and well-behaved, she loves having her own comfy bed at home. Claudia has endless energy, a joyful spirit, and so much love to give. She’s ready to find her forever family! To foster this animal, please visit https://louieslegacy.org/get-involved/foster/ The adoption fee for Claudia is $475. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
