How can you resist those ice blue puppy dog eyes and the softest white fur!! Meet the adorable Sarge!!! Sarge is a year old and looks like a mini Husky! She is full grown at 17lbs, the perfect lap dog size!
While a little shy at first, Sarge is a total cuddle bug and loves to be held or will curl up on your lap for a good snuggle or puppy snooze. Once she warms up, Sarge is a total love bug and will roll around looking for belly rubs and prance around looking to play. When she’s not cuddling up next to you, Sarge also loves to play with toys, especially the ones that squeak and she is always up for a fun little game of tug of war. After a little playtime, Sarge is happy to entertain herself with a nice chew toy…bully sticks, antlers, no hides, kongs.
Sarge is crate-trained and sleeps through the night without making a peep. She really enjoys her trail walks with her foster mom! She’s treat motivated and has already mastered sit, waits patiently for her meals and takes treats so gently.
Due to Sarge's more reserved nature, she would do best in a home with another dog already present. She thrives in the company of other canines, though, she would prefer a home with no cats.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
