Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Panda is a beautiful pup! She came to us from the NYC shelter system. She was surrendered by her family when they were moving to a new apartment that does not allow pets. Panda is a complete love and is very affectionate! And she is gorgeous to boot! Panda is sensitive to hands coming at her face or neck if you are a new friend. Once she knows and trusts you, she will let you touch her face and neck and she is very loving and receptive to pets. Panda is dog and cat friendly. She is housebroken and crate trained though she will protest for a few minutes initially. Panda has shown some resource guarding with a few high value items so we would recommend "trading up" if she has something you want to take back and we would recommend no small kids. Panda is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $450. How to Adopt Me! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bones is a sweet old man who is looking for a home. Bones is in Louisiana now but he's hoping to come to NJ when we find a foster or adopter. We do offer a foster to adopt trial to approved applicants. Bones' owner passed away and left 8 dogs homeless. The owner's daughter is trying to find a place for the remaining dogs before they are kicked out of the home February 26th. Bones is bonded with his brother James so we are hoping to find them a home together but we will consider any home considering the urgency of the situation. Bones is dog friendly but not good with cats or livestock. He and James have a history of digging out of the fenced yard so they can't be left alone in the yard for long periods of time. They are sweet boys who are housebroken and crate trained. Bones is fixed,   microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee will be $300. How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to  wagoninn.rescuegroups.org . Zoey is eligible for foster or a foster-to-adopt trial with an approved adopter.  Zoey is an active, playful pup who loves to run and play and loves adventures! She is just a pup so some training will be needed. She has a good amount of energy and would be best suited for an active person or family. Zoey is dog friendly! Zoey is fixed, up to date on vaccines and tested negative  for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $550.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Josie Jane is a beautiful girl who is looking for a home. Josie Jane is one of 3 dogs currently at the Crowley, Louisiana shelter. This shelter is in a rural area with very little resources for the animals in their care. If we find a committed foster for Josie, she will be put into a foster home in Louisiana for a minimum of 2 weeks before coming to NJ. Josie Jane is a friendly, active girl who is dog friendly. Sadly, since she is in the shelter we do not know too much about her but we do believe she deserves a chance to live! If a foster is secured, Josie Jane will be fixed and up to date on vaccines before transport. Josie Jane tested positive for  heartworm and will begin her antibiotic in Louisiana but will require treatment here in NJ with her foster. Treatment includes 30 days of antibiotic and then two injection events aimed to kill the worms in her heart. After the injections, she is on light duty which includes no running or vigorous play with other dogs and short leashed walks.  Her adoption fee is $450.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. How to Adopt Me!
