Story
Apollo is a handsome 2.5-year-old Husky/Boxer mix with a unique personality and a heart waiting to bond with his forever family. As is common with Huskies, Apollo can be a bit aloof, especially in new situations. But once he warms up to you, his loyalty and affection know no bounds.Previously an outside-only dog, Apollo is learning the joys of family life and indoor comforts. He’s highly treat-motivated, which makes training and building trust both fun and rewarding. When Apollo first came to us, he was underweight, but with proper care and nutrition, he’s now looking and feeling great!Apollo is an active and curious dog who loves walks and outdoor time. He’s happiest when exploring the world through his nose, sniffing everything in sight as he goes. Given his high energy levels, he’ll thrive with a family who enjoys staying active and can provide him with plenty of opportunities to exercise and explore.Since Apollo’s history with cats is unknown, a cat-free home is recommended. With patience, consistency, and love, Apollo is sure to flourish as a beloved member of your family. If you’re looking for a smart, independent, and adventurous companion, Apollo might just be the one for you. Could you be the family he’s been waiting for?

Story
Welcome Leia to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Leia is a 5 month old pup that is Husky/Staffordshire Terrier. A picture of the mom and dad are available. Both are very friendly and social dogs. The pups would be good with children. Lia is the most shy of the 4 pack. All these pups are smart and willing to learn and work well when you train with them. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. The unspayed female was around the male and in just minutes she was pregnant with 10 puppies. These 5 are still available for adoption. All have had 3 rounds of puppy shots, microchipped and will be altered before adoption. Their mom is 65 pounds so we think these pups will be 65 pounds. They know sit, wait and are the ultimate water dogs. They like to play and swim in the foster’s swimming pool. They would all make great camping companions. They love other dogs and all people including kiddos. They have the bushy coat like the Husky and several of them have ice-blue eyes. Lia is the smallest female. She is a little shy but sweet and one of the more vocal. She would warn you if someone was at the door or at the fence. She is a nice girl and since he is the smallest girl we think he will for sure be 55 pounds. She is mostly potty trained but will need more consistency than the foster can provide with 4 puppies. They are good in a crate and in a car. They are currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get any of this litter (2 girls and 2 boys) to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
