Story

Potato is a very high energy dog. He’s okay on leash, but is used to going on off leash hikes. He is well trained on an e-collar or invisible fence, but if he’s not exercised enough he becomes an escape artist. He’s friendly with other animals but needs time to meet them and get used to them. I’m looking for someone who can give him the exercise he needs, since I am physically no longer able too. He’s house trained and doesn’t require a crate. He’s not destructive, but he is prone to escaping or running away when his needs aren’t being met. He’s lived with cats before with no problem and he’s used to babies and small children too. He can be very vocal when meeting new people but has never shown any signs of aggression.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport. Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff. Available for Adoption in New England and the Midwest - Leo! Leo is an honorary Lucky Lab. He is an energetic 60 lb, 2 year old absolutely gorgeous husky mix looking for his forever home. Leo is playful and submissive with people and other dogs, good with kids, and knows come and sit commands perfectly. NO Cats for Leo though. Leo is well behaved in the house but given his age, needs an active family or another dog to get all his energy out. He is potty trained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives and is microchipped. Welcome Maz to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Maz is a 5 month old pup that is Husky/Staffordshire Terrier. A picture of the mom and dad are available. Both are very friendly and social dogs. The pups would be good with children. We like them to be 8 or older. The unspayed female was around the male and in just minutes she was pregnant with 10 puppies. These 5 are still available for adoption. All have had 3 rounds of puppy shots, microchipped and will be altered before adoption. Their mom is 65 pounds so we think these pups will be 65 pounds. They know sit, wait and are the ultimate water dogs. They like to play and swim in the foster’s swimming pool. They would all make great camping companions. They love other dogs and all people including kiddos. They have the bushy coat like the Husky and several of them have ice-blue eyes. Maz is the biggest female. She is 3nd biggest in the litter. She is relaxed and one of the least vocal. She is a nice girl and since he is the biggest girl we think he will for sure be 65 pounds. She is mostly potty trained but will need more consistency than the foster can provide with 4 puppies. They are good in a crate and in a car. They are currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get any of this litter (2 girls and 2 boys) to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200.
