Story
A23954 Glacier is a white and black colored, approximately 1-year-old, 37-pound, neutered male, Husky. He entered the shelter as a stray on 11-27-2024 and was altered by our medical staff. He came is with and is bonded to another Husky, Frosty and they must be adopted together. Glacier is a friendly, timid and shy boy here at the shelter. He is doing much better now that he kenneled with Frosty. They were left tied to a tree in front of the shelter, but Frosty escaped and was caught a few days later. Our staff says he is a friendly boy trying to figure out this shelter environment. He has had some training and will “sit” “down” and “stay” upon command. He was easy to leash and walks well on a leash. He is nervous here and will freeze when scared. He is getting better each day, since Frosty was brought in. As soon as he recognized Frosty, he started calling out for him and we put them together. He has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. Glacier will be a loving family member in his new forever home.
We'll also keep you updated on Frosty's adoption status with email updates.

He came is with and is bonded to another Husky, Glacier and they must be adopted together. Frosty is a friendly, eager, and excited boy here at the shelter. He is a typical energetic, full of personality Husky. Our staff says he is a friendly boy who loves affection and is eager to see you, waiting at the kennel door when you approach. He has had some training and will “sit” upon command. He was easy to leash but is definitely a puller and ready to be out exploring. He has a friendly interest in other dogs here at the shelter. Story
A24132 Joshua is a white colored, approximately 3-year-old, 53-pound, neutered male, Husky. He entered the shelter as a stray on 12-07-2024 and was altered by our medical staff. Joshua is a friendly, timid and shy boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is so sweet and loves people. He will hide behind you if there is too much noise or commotion. He loves affection and is easy to handle. He will sit at his kennel door patiently waiting for you to open it and give him love. He was easy to leash but pulls in excitement to be out for a walk. He will need some training in leash and commands. He is treat motivated so he may be easy to train. He has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. We would recommend no small children since quick movements and noise scare him. Joshua will be a loving family member in his new forever home.

Story
Dinah first joined us at only 1 day old after her mom died giving birth. She was bottle fed in one of our foster homes and found a loving family. Unfortunately, Dinah has become too rough for the small dog in her family so they made the difficult decision to return her to us so she could find a new home. Dinah loves to swim, play fetch and go for walks. She is perfect for someone looking for a dog who likes to go on adventures! Dinah does fine with bigger dogs, she likes to play but respects when they are not interested in her; she prefers to be the queen of the casa so dominant dogs are not a good match. Dinah is kennel trained, house trained and will be the perfect addition to a lucky home! She is 2 1/2 years old and weighs 55 lbs. We have adoption appointments throughout the week! Turn in an adoption interest form at https://waggingtailsrescue.org/dog-adoption/ to learn more about this dog and schedule a meet and greet! Additionally, we have an adoption event every Saturday from 11-1pm at Petco (645 S Green Valley Parkway) where you can come and visit our adoptable dogs. We hope to hear from you soon! Please send in an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org
