Meet Thaddeus, our 7 year old Siberian Husky, with an eternal Babyface! If you are looking for an easy dog that is quiet and chill but enjoys a nice walk you have found your stunning boy! Thad is on the smallish side weighing in 55 pounds and is short in stature. Thaddeus's owner passed away and no one in the family could take him, so we happily stepped up for this wonderful boy. He initially was a bit shy at his foster, but has since warmed up nicely to new people. He is doing well with his manners and is enjoying life with his two furry foster siblings and older human human children. Thad also loves his stuffed ball that will come with him to a new home and boy does he loves to be outside so a fenced in yard would be ideal! Thaddeus enjoys curling up with people and other dogs and would do well as a single or pack dog!   He is on the quiet side and not your typical loud talkative husky except when playing. Thad is kennel trained and potty trained. He is just a well rounded easy guy that wants to brighten up your day. All Haven Rescue pets are altered, up to date with vaccinations, HeartWorm tested, Microchipped and up to date with preventatives.      PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. Story
Radar is a 4 year old agouti husky. He is a very energetic and loveable goofball. He likes to play wrestle with other dogs and leaves cats alone for the most part. He does have some issues that we've been working on. He can be kennel aggressive and resource guards, so I'd rather him go to a home without small children. It's a bonus if you're experienced with huskies. We're needing to find him a new home because we've run into some financial difficulties and are expecting a human child in October. Please reach out if you think he'd be a good fit in your home.

10 year old sweetest boy ever. Has hip dysplasia so needs an anti inflammatory. Lazy boy who loves to lay around and cuddle. Needs tough toys as he tends to not do the best with stuffed toys. Never barks but loves to howl if you start to sing. Great with other dogs and cats, needs someone to give him lots of love.

I used to be very confused and see double with my two different colored eyes. While I walk mostly in a straight line now, I have stumbled a few times when the small hoomans are around. What do I do? Do I herd them all in one area? Do I protect them? Do they desire running exercises like I do?? My foster mom has been so patient with me as I Iearn to walk the line and I have come a long way. Now I know the small hoomans like to cuddle the way big hoomans do! I sure am a quick learner! Thanks to my foster family, I am quickly gaining confidence and trust with the two-leggeds of all shapes and sizes. My vision is no longer blurry and I look forward to my future.
