**Courtesy Post** Ramona is about 8-10 years old Weighs 37lbs Husky mix  Fully vetted and hw-   Ramona was severely abused in her past and was emaciated when she came to me. She flinches when you move too fast and is always ready to be hit. She's gotten much better and doesn't jump every time she's touched anymore but we're still working on making her feel more comfortable.    She's the sweetest gal without an aggressive bone in her body. She tries to engage in play but she has 2 severely luxated patella's so she isn't incredibly stable. She takes gabapentin for her knees and that seems to make her feel a whole lot better! She likes other dogs but doesn't like them being rowdy in her face and who could blame her! The most she'll do is bark and walk away. She's learning to enjoy walks bones toys and a comfy place to sleep!    She struggled with digestive issues but after a round of steroids she seems to be doing 100% better! She takes probiotics and one serving of Metamucil per day plus she gets a tablespoons of pumpkin with both meals.    This girl is unbelievably sweet and deserves a calm home where she can continue her progress of being a dog.   To adopt Ramona please send an email to Nickiroy37@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 19, 2025, 3:20 pm

Draco is a handsome 3-year-old Husky mix with striking blue eyes and a goofy personality that always keeps his family smiling. He’s fully potty trained, well-mannered in the house, and can be trusted whether kenneled or left out. With medium energy, Draco doesn’t need long walks due to an old leg injury of being shot. But he still enjoys playtime and being part of the fun. He’s wonderful with kids and other dogs, and he bonds strongly with his people. Draco would do best in a quieter home without lots of visitors. He can be protective of his home at first with new people. If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Draco’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption only, in San Antonio or TX area, $200.

Top of the mornin' to ya! It's me Mullen, the most pleasant lad you'll ever meet! You don't hear about many Irish Siberian Huskies now do ya? But, here I am! With my ginger-red coat I am the talk of the town, however, I can only be adopted in my town because I am kind of an anxious kind of fellow. I love other dogs and must be adopted with another calm/confident dog please. My new owners need to be patient and great at building confidence in me, as I never was loved on as a pup so I am still nervous with new people and in new situations. However, I am very smart and learn quickly!! Some basic information about Mullen; he is male, Siberian Husky mix, and expected to be medium-sized (20-59lbs). Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
