Story
Due to a house fire we’re unable to keep this awesome guy. His name is Leo and he is 6.5 years old. Fun fact and you can see dots that make a L on his nose. He is such a great great asset to the family. He loves to sing especially happy birthday. He sits, shakes, he’ll even close your back door for a treat. He is energetic and need someone that’s going be able to give him the time and energy that he needs each day. He loves to play catch but also to sit on your lap and just get hugs. It’s not required, but If it all possible he has a brother Titus that I would like to not split them up and rehome together if I’m able

Story
El Lobo was adopted in May 2022 from Lawrence Humane Society. He was a few months old at the time. He does not like kennels but he loves off leash parks and will constantly make sure you're keeping up with him. He is a great big brother to his little shepsky sister and feels great responsibility to make sure she is behaving well. He is supremely friendly and is not afraid to make new friends. No type or number will stop him from saying hello. He enjoys being able to go outside at will in order to run and be chased. If he feels like his little sister is about to escape, he will ask for help. If she gets out, he will go after her and make sure she's fine. Lobo wants time from his humans more than any food or toy. He is persistent in getting your attention and will happily do what you want him to.

Pet Location: Wayside’s Canine Behavior Center – I`d love to show off all the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me! My Friends at Wayside say: -I am enrolled in LIFT University. This is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. -I am a graduate of Waifs with Wisdom. In this program, I learned basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. -My previous owner said that I am house-trained.-Chews, Kong-like feeders, puzzle toys—help to keep me entertained!- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information. My home needs are: -I need a home with kids 6 years old and older who will enjoy my enthusiasm for life!-Wayside requires bringing the whole family out to meet me before adoption - new people can make me a little nervous.- Cats are much too interesting to me, so my home will need to be cat free.-No apartments or shared living spaces for me, please! I like to use my voice when I am excited-I have a lot of energy and need an active adopter.- Wayside recommends researching my breed before adopting!-I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies. Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days so we can meet!Check out my super cool new video! Scroll through my photos to watch it. Hi, I’m Karma! I’m a 1-year-old Alaskan Husky with a love for adventure, toys, and brain games. I can be a little aloof when meeting new people, so I’ll need some time and patience to warm up. But once I know you’re part of my circle, you’ll see my fun, affectionate, and playful side shine. I love exploring new places, playing with my favorite toys, and romping around with my doggie friends. I also find a lot of comfort in my toys and the people I trust.I’m a smart girl who enjoys keeping her brain busy, whether that’s learning new things through training, solving enrichment puzzles, or staying engaged in an active home. I’m housetrained too, but like any pup settling into a new place, I’ll need some time to adjust. So I ask that you’re patient with me as I take my time to get used to my new environment. Because I have

Story
He is sweet when comfortable. He really likes to go outside, the downside to that is he like to runaway any chance he gets. I’m in college and my mom is getting old she can’t handle him since him getting bigger and stronger. He can be a little aggressive depending on who you are which is a downside to adopting him also that I am requesting an experienced owner. He loves to be rubbed on and to lick, and also love’s ear whatever you are eating.
