Story
Adopted blue about a year ago from 2nd chance adoption. He's usually a quiet dog with a gentle temperament. Does not get along well with cats (reason for rehoming) Very energetic, loves to go on long runs/jogs. House trained regularly leave him in a room while at work. Ensure he has a chew toy or bone. He's about 2 years old or a bit more. I think he's a husky lab mix. Does best as the only dog. Loves the dog park will play with any dog. Low maintenance, food, water, play. Neutered, chipped, vaxed. Does jump on people, good around kids except for the jumping. He knows his name and responds to training. He has deep blue eyes. He looks good=compliments!

Story
Meet Bindi! Bindi was found as a stray with wounds on both back legs with one her legs being non weight bearing. She was assessed right away at the vets office and it was found she had a severe fracture in hip joint that was not able to be repaired. We elected to have her back left leg amputated as she is a young girl with lots of life left to live! Bindi has shown nothing but pure love and calmness while under our care for her before, during and throughout her surgery and healing, she loves to snuggle and be petted at all times. The amputation of her leg has not slowed her down one bit or changed her loving and caring manner. Bindi will be entering the Puppies for Parole 10 Week Training Session. While in training she will learn basic commands such as sit, come, stay, down, leash walking, crate training, house broken and more! Bindi is fully vetted including, Spay, All vaccines, Heartworm Test, as well as monthly preventatives and microchipped. If you are interested in giving Bindi a forever home, please complete our adoption application on our website at www.moberlyanimalshelter.bravesites.com Meet and Greets will be scheduled for approved adopters during the week Monday - Friday between the hours of 9am and 3pm as they will take place at the department of corrections.

Story
Meet Aspen! Aspen was saved along with her 5 siblings from life in a shed, where they were being kept in a small kennel with very limited food and water. Aspen was only 8lbs at 3 months old but since coming to the shelter she has steadily gained weight and is thriving once again. She is currently 4 1/2 months old and waiting to receive her 3rd round of Parvo vaccines, she is very much your typical puppy who will need lots of attention and direction on how to be the best pup she can be. Aspen will be adopted out as a "Foster to Adopt" as she will need her vetting completed, prior to going to her new home she will have had all 3 Rounds of her Parvo Vaccines, this includes Lepto, Bordetella as well as a Rabies Vaccine. She will be scheduled to be Spayed in Late February as well. If you are interested in Giving Aspen a forever home please complete our adoption application on our website at www.moberlyanimalshelter.bravesites.com Meet and Greets will be set up for approved adopters only.
