But I recently was lucky enough to go to a foster home, and my new foster parent says I have been adjusting well and that I am gentle, well-mannered in the home, and so sweet! I even seem to know some commands! I am working on getting more confident and comfortable. Can you be my safe person? Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. &#226&#128&#139Triscuit is an absolute lovebug looking for a snuggle buddy. He wants to be pet as much as possible and will make his feelings known by putting his head under your arm if you aren’t petting him. He has a somewhat limited understanding of personal space and prefers to spend his time on top of someone. He is a bit timid, but gets over it pretty quickly when he realizes there are treats and pets available. Triscuit is unfortunately heartworm positive and will need an adopter who will continue his treatment. LDDR will cover the cost, but he will need to be kept calm and on restricted activity until he gets the all clear from the vet. While he isn’t allowed to run around now, he still has a bit of energy that slows that he would love to run around and play once he is able. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.
