Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Dalton, our newest resident at the Mikey & Me Kennels for Happy Days Rescue. Dalton is a 4 year old Husky/Shepherd mix and he weighs about 60 pounds. He has a beautiful tri-colored coat and the most beautiful blue eyes. Dalton was born in August of 2020 and lived with his mother and siblings at the owner’s home. Sadly, it sounds like the pups spent most of their daytime in crates. They were all confiscated from the home on May 1st of this year after they were found being neglected. Dalton came to us about 2 weeks ago; I’ve waited to post him until I had the time to know him better. I can tell you that Dalton is a very nice boy, he enjoys meeting new people and taking walks outside. He walks very nicely on-leash and has been nonreactive to people, cars, and critters outside. He’s only recently started playing with toys and he now greets me each morning holding one. Dalton may be a little shy when meeting you for the first time but once he realizes he’s safe with you, he wants to be close. The only caveat is that Dalton doesn’t like cats. Dalton will have his first Vet appt. on Friday, September 6th. He has already had a rabies shot and received his vaccinations while at the shelter. At his appt. Dalton will have a wellness exam, heart worm test, he will be microchipped, and I have a feeling he’s going to leave there with a lot of new girlfriends. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 If you would like to meet Dalton, please submit an adoption application under his name at happydaysdogandcatrescue.org. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
Heiress is a 7 year old purebred Siberian Husky. She is about 50 pounds. I purchased her from a breeder in St. Joseph, MI when she was just a few weeks old. Her mom and dad were both champion show dogs and she comes from a strong lineage. She is a very sweet dog and is full of playfulness and energy! She LOVES kids! She is up to date on all of her vaccines and she is spayed. My wife and I are both Realtors and we are rarely ever home so she is stuck inside by herself all day, everyday and we want to find her a good home where she gets the attention she deserves and can enjoy her life. We are also expecting a child in a few months which is going to make it even more difficult for our household. She is a great companion and this was a very difficult decision for us to make but we feel that at this stage in our life, it is the right one. If Heiress is the right dog for you and your family, please reach out to me so that we can have a chance to talk further.

Story
Loki (yes name after the show) is a 4-year-old Husky with a strong personality and loves to greet you with a special howl. He is chill but can be a bit energetic when he gets excited about the things he loves—for example, going outside to run around in the yard, getting treats, or getting a brand-new toy. Loki can be a bit sassy when he wants but also loving when he needs to be. Ps. Fun fact Loki has Heterochromia (one blue eye and the other brown)
