Story
Aurora was found on the streets with a dislocated hip in November by the Humane Society of Detroit. I have been fostering her (I’m in Midtown Detroit) for the last 3 months and she is the best dog I have ever met. She is sweet, very receptive to training and thoughtful and returns all love given to her a hundred fold. Loves snuggles and is a sleepy girl inside until adventures outside, no problems being left home alone or going off leash. Like all Siberian huskies she loves to be out and running in the woods or elsewhere. Always has time to stop for a chat with another dog or intriguing human though. She doesn’t bark really at all, but will roo rooo roo in husky fashion; loves to introduce herself to new friends! I would keep her as my own furever friend but I travel too much for work to give her a stable enough home and I don’t have a yard. Feel free to text if you have questions or would like to meet her 586-215-8584 .

Story
Hello We have a 9yo male husky named Lupin who needs to be rehomed. My wife and I have tried very hard to get him acclimated to our son since he was born 2 years ago, but after recent events and a huge scare we unfortunately have to rehome him. He is fully vaccinated and fixed. Great with adults, but does not do well with small children or other pets (he is fine around older children). He would do fantastic in a home where he is the only animal. We are asking for a small fee rehoming fee of $50 so he doesn’t end up in the wrong hands.

Story
Meet Chet!Chet is a spirited and playful Husky mix, around 3 to 4 years old. He’s definitely full of energy, curiosity, and that classic Husky charm. We’re looking for an adopter with experience in the Husky breed who understands their unique needs and personality. Chet is not a low-maintenance pup—he thrives on activity and would love a human who enjoys long walks, jogs, or even fun games like “find it” to keep his mind and body busy. Simply letting him out in the yard won’t be enough for this high-energy guy—he’s looking for a true adventure buddy! With his striking blue eyes and dazzling smile, Chet is a total heart-stealer. He already knows how to sit, shake, and lie down, and since he’s very food-motivated, training him is both fun and rewarding. He’d do great with someone who enjoys working on new tricks and building that special bond through positive reinforcement.Chet would do best in a home without cats or small animals, but he gets along well with other dogs—both male and female. If you already have a canine companion at home, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone gets along before Chet joins your pack. Some additional training in basic and intermediate obedience, as well as leash manners, will help Chet continue to thrive and become the best version of himself. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $125

Story
Meet the beautiful Raven.Raven is a gorgeous Siberian Husky around the approximate age of 1 year. She has terrific black and white markings and the most beautiful brown eyes. Raven is a kind and gentle girl and loves to be in the presence of humans, especially getting lots of pets and scratches. However, Raven ALSO does extremely well playing well with other dogs and loves to romp around the play yards. She exhibits very healthy puppy play by showing play bows and paws on the other dog gently to show she wants to play.Raven is not mouthy at all, but would still greatly benefit from the socialization and training a basic obedience course can offer her. Due to her breed, it will be necessary you have experience with huskies prior to adopting our Raven, as well as a dedicated intention for exercise. Just letting a husky roam around in the backyard is not sufficient enough for their physical or mental health. Speak to our staff regarding this special adoption. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100

**Available for transport to you!*** Oh Baby Bill. He is such a lamb!! He is still very much a puppy, so he will definitely make you laugh. He has this face that you just want to kiss all day. He is all about his toys, naps, and snacks. He is treat motivated, training should be a breeze! He has been so courageous with my other dogs, but is so respectful of their boundaries when he’s told so! He slept in his kennel wonderfully, just cried when he has to go potty. I believe he will make a perfect addition to any family! Baby Bill is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. Email us for more information conniesk9rescue@gmail.com
