Story
Meet Cedar, a charming 1-year-old male pup who's ready to find his forever home! Cedar is a spirited dog who truly thrives as the only pet. He’s looking for an environment where he can shine without the distractions of other furry friends, making him the perfect companion for someone who understands his needs. Cedar can become overstimulated by the presence of other dogs, so he would thrive best in a peaceful neighborhood with minimal dog traffic. This smart and energetic boy would love a home where he can enjoy long walks and playtime with his human companions. An adult-only home or one with older, respectful children would be ideal for Cedar, where he can feel secure and happy. He's eager to bond with someone who can provide him with love, training, and patience. Cedar deserves a second chance at a happy life, and with the right family, he will flourish. If you're ready to give Cedar the stable and loving home he craves, he’ll return your kindness with loyalty and love like no other! Come meet Cedar today and see if you’re the perfect match!

Story
Name: Nami Female Approx DOB: 4/15/2025 Siberian Husky About: Nami is a purebred Husky with two blue eyes. She is very playful. She is crate trained for night sleep and is still working on potty training. She knows commands in Spanish and can sit and shake hands. She is timid and nervous around her current foster dog sister but they have had issues with not getting along (the current dog in the home does not like Nami). Nami loves to play through the fence with the back fence line neighbor dogs, though. She likes to chase cats but is more playful with them than aggressive. She can play a bit roughly with younger children so we think older kids would be best. She's not aggressive, just gets very excited. She can walk on a leash but is still learning leash manners and likes to jump on her hind legs in excitement until she burns off some energy. Background: She was originally obtained by a person who does roofing but he travels long distances for work and ended up moving. She is spayed, up to date on all her vaccines, heartworm negative and will be microchipped upon adoption. If you are interested in adopting Nami, you can fill out an application at figandfriendspetrescue.org/adopt

Story
Bowie was adopted from an animal shelter in January. He is an approximately 7-9 year old Husky Mix. His favorite activities are sleeping on the couch, cuddling with his humans, walks and head pets. He is chill and likes to follow his humans around the house. Sometimes he has goofy bursts of husky energy and bounces around. He has had an extensive medical work-up and has Alopecia X. Alopecia X has caused hair loss on much of his body but is only cosmetic. He should be in an only dog home. While he loves every human he meets, he has some reactiveness with other dogs. He sometimes growls at other dogs but the reason we are looking to rehome him is that he does not get along with our other dog. He is reactive in our home to our other dog and does not like sharing the couch or space. We want him to have a better quality of life and to be safe and comfortable.
