I love to take walks and explore my surroundings and am quite good on the leash. I play well with other dogs too. I enjoy car rides and am crate trained. Not good with cats,
Story
Meet Champaign...she is a young female Husky in need of a new home. She came in as a stray and was never claimed. She is a beautiful girl with gorgeous coloring! She is friendly and enjoys being petted. She does well with other shelter dogs, but meet and greets are a must if you have other dogs. She was adopted and returned because she did not do well with a cat in the home. She had accidents (pee only) in the home. So she will need more house training. Unless it was solely because of their cat that she was acting out. She does not like being crated. Please visit the Taylor Animal Shelter to meet her.

Story
Trinity is a very pretty Husky mix with blue eyes. She is currently fostered with other dogs in an adult home. We don't know how she is around young children but older kids should be fine. She is smart, energetic and playful and might be a good companion for another dog or is fine as an only dog. Trinity loves human attention and interaction. Those interested should be familiar with the breed. She would enjoy going on walks with someone willing to give her lots of love and attention. Trinity is microchipped. We think she is about 2 years old.

Story
Freya was found as a stray without id in the neighborhood of one of our volunteers. This active Husky needs an experienced person , ideally familiar with the breed. She is a very sweet dog with a friendly disposition. Freya is a bit shy at first, but quickly warms up to calm and gentle responses. As with all Huskies, she has lots of energy and would love frequent exercise, including long walks and jogs and interactive play, and she walks like a champ on a leash. Freya loves to play with other dogs similar in size. Cats and other small animals might be considered prey so probably are not the best companions nor are young children. This sweet girl is quick to snuggle up and might even need lots of contact and affection. We think she would thrive with an experienced pack leader(s) in a calmer household. We quickly fell in love with this regal beauty and are certain you will too! A high fenced yard is needed or she will need to be on a tie out as she is able to jump a 4 foot chain link fence. Freya is very loving and loves her belly rubbed once she gets to know you. Her beautiful blue eyes will melt your heart! We think she is young about 1 1/2 years old and she weighs 49 pounds.

Story
I got Iris & Ivy in California from a military married couple back in 2019. She is roughly 8 years old. I am looking for someone who preferably physically fit due to the breed. Iris is very food driven and very prissy. She is a big girl but very classy. She politely sits when declining a male dog. If taken to a dog park, she loves the little dogs but tends to pay no mind after a while as she rather just play with her sister, Ivy. Iris loves to sun bathe. However she doesn’t like the beach or large bodies of water. Iris has Separation anxiety from her sister and scared of thunderstorms/fireworks. Cuddling with her or giving her love helps. Calm treat or sedative prescribe by the doctor tend to work too.

Story
Ivy is an attention lover and very energetic. She loves to run and will be ahead of you, while her lazier sister prefers to run behind you. She would rather run through a puddle than around it like her sister. Ivy loves her sister and has separation anxiety. At a dog park, she loves to say hello to everybody. She will initiate play with other dogs then continue to play with only her sister. If she likes a boy dog, she just lets him. But discouraged. Prefers someone also energetic and adventurous. Ivy loves to go outside and enjoy a nice sun bathe. She likes kids but keeps to herself for most of the day in the bathroom. She prefers to be curled up in a ball on the bathroom mat. Car rides, she sticks her head out.

Story
Loki (yes name after the show) is a 4-year-old Husky with a strong personality and loves to greet you with a special howl. He is chill but can be a bit energetic when he gets excited about the things he loves—for example, going outside to run around in the yard, getting treats, or getting a brand-new toy. Loki can be a bit sassy when he wants but also loving when he needs to be. Ps. Fun fact Loki has Heterochromia (one blue eye and the other brown)
