Meet Zero: The Husky Heartthrob Ready to Steal Your Heart! Introducing Zero, our 3.5-year-old Husky who’s sure to charm his way right into your heart! This playful and spirited boy embodies all the traits of his breed. Zero loves to play, go for walks, bask in the sun, and engage in playful roughhousing with his 4 doggy foster siblings. Zero would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard and an active family who can keep up with his energetic lifestyle. Huskies are known for their intelligence and adventurous spirits, and Zero is no exception. He’s incredibly smart, knows multiple commands, and walks beautifully on a leash. However, it’s important to note that Huskies are notorious escape artists, and Zero is no different. His curiosity and zest for life mean he’ll need a secure environment and a family that understands or is committed to learning about the breed’s unique needs. If you’re familiar with Huskies or ready to dive into understanding their quirks, Zero could be the perfect fit for you! Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home and we want our adopters to be prepared for that! APPLY on our WEBSITE: rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt rebeldogsdetroit.com/becomeafoster

Story
Yoshi is a playful, loving, affectionate boy who can't wait to warm your heart and home! Yoshi loves playing with other dogs, loves playing tug with ropes, and loves stuffies with squeakers. Yoshi's true kryptonite, however, is belly rubs! he'll take as many belly rubs as you're willing to give him. Like many of his breed he is very relaxed around the house when given enough activities and stimulation like longs walks, and puzzle toys that stimulate his mind. Yoshi does well in the crate when home alone, he is extremely smart and has been learning basic commands with ease. He is highly motivated by food/treats when inside, but more motivated by affection/pets when outside. Yoshi can't wait to find a home to call his own where he can continue learning and flourishing into the wonderful young man he is. Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home. Story
Ox A16908152 lb. neutered male, approx 3 years old - Playful and energetic- He could benefit from a yard and probably a privacy fence- Zoomies galore- He’s treat motivated, sits and takes them nicely. Can catch them too.- Friendly and enjoys pets and giving kisses- He has puppy type energy- Decent on a leash- Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids. Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-3:30 BUT our adoptions are done 7 days a week from 10:30am -3:00pm. The last potential adopter must arrive before 3:00 pm so we have time to properly help you before closing. 1431 E Ferry St. Detroit

Story
Trinity is a very pretty Husky mix with blue eyes. She is currently fostered with other dogs in an adult home. We don't know how she is around young children but older kids should be fine. She is energetic and playful and might be a good companion for another dog. Those interested should be familiar with the breed. She would enjoy going on walks with someone willing to give her lots of love and attention. Trinity is microchipped. We think she is about 1-2 years old.

Story
Miss Kalyn had a good life until her owner passed away last year. His family tried to care for her, but put her outside to live on a chain. When one of the other dogs got twisted in its chain and died, they decided to surrender her to rescue. She has always lived with children, other dogs and cats. She is smaller for her breed. She does shed. She will require a fenced backyard. She deserves a home that will love her as part of the family. She has been completely vetted, microchipped and on preventatives. This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Hello We have a 9yo male husky named Lupin who needs to be rehomed. My wife and I have tried very hard to get him acclimated to our son since he was born 2 years ago, but after recent events and a huge scare we unfortunately have to rehome him. He is fully vaccinated and fixed. Great with adults, but does not do well with small children or other pets (he is fine around older children). He would do fantastic in a home where he is the only animal. We are asking for a small fee rehoming fee of $50 so he doesn’t end up in the wrong hands.

Story
Sage is a bold and intelligent mixed breed dog, with a heart of gold. She is affectionate and attentive, but also silly and independent. Sage had puppies with us, and one of the puppies had a DNA test done. We therefore know that she is a makeup of very many breeds, predominantly Pitbull and Chow. Sage is super duper clean, and very food motivated. She will fly through the air for as little as a kibble. Sage is a lot of fun to train, she follows a lure great, and knows commands like 'jump' 'down' and 'crawl'. Sage is dog selective, but leash reactive. She should be the only dog in her household. Sage is not getting any applications because she is ugly. She is a soft, snuggly dog who will make you laugh every day. She has humble expectations of what a great life is!
