Story
Chloe is a 3.5 month old husky mix from Kentucky. Her first 2 months were rather overwhelming so she is a little slower to open up. She loves her big foster brother (dog) and is learning to respect cat's boundaries. She does well and is curious with kids but fearful if they rush at her. She is crate trained and is doing well with potty training (rings the bell to go out) but does have the occasional accident. She loves to play catch and is working on bringing the ball back. Chloe can be a little nervous so needs someone to help her build confidence. This beautiful girl is ready to find her forever place to grow up! If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Clicking the "Ask About" button does not submit an application. It only submits a question which will delay an application submission.    All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm tested negative ( puppies age 7 months and older) and microchipped. A puppy's adoption fee is $350.  There is a $5 fee for credit/debit cards. **WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION WHEN YOU SEE THE PUPPY YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.  DO NOT DELAY YOUR APPLICATION SUBMISSION BY SENDING QUESTIONS REGARDING A PUPPY TO OUR GENERAL EMAIL. Story
Trip is an energetic and intelligent Husky/Shepherd mix looking for a home that will embrace his active nature and provide plenty of outlets for both his mind and body. He would thrive with a confident, dog-savvy owner who can help guide him and build his confidence.Trip is full of life and curiosity, but he can be a bit insecure at first and will need time to get to know new people. He tends to form his own opinions quickly about who he likes, so patience and understanding will go a long way in helping him feel comfortable. He’s learning that enthusiasm is best expressed with good manners and would benefit from continued guidance with boundaries, especially when it comes to personal space. With consistency and structure, Trip has tremendous potential to become a loyal and wonderful companion.Trip is also quite the handsome boy! Due to his energy level and needs, he is looking for a home with a secure fenced yard and no children.DOB 1/15/23 52 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
If you like Huskies and always wanted one, but you thought they were too large and had too much hair, Lizzie might be a great solution. She is petite in size, but has a large personality as well as a strong singing voice. Lizzie can be a little shy at first, and does not like loud noises. She will definitely require a secure fenced yard, due to the fact that Huskies tend to escape and run. Since she is new to us we do not know how she is with other dogs, children, or cats. Story
AVAI'm just a young girl with the most striking topaz eyes, and beautiful red coat. It may take me time to warm up to you, but once I do, I promise you will have a friend for life. I am currently working on my training to help build my confidence, and let my lovely personality shine. As for my heritage, well I'm part Husky, so I'll need a secure fenced yard and due to my shyness no children or cats, please.DOB 12/27/2020 53 poundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Skye is a beautiful Husky mix with a big heart and a huge love for people. She enjoys being close to her humans, soaking up pets, and doing the classic “husky lean” where she presses up against you for extra snuggles. At around 60 lbs, she may not realize she’s not a lap dog and will happily try to be one! Skye has an energetic side and will do best with an active family. She has a high prey drive and enjoys chasing smaller animals, so a home without small pets would likely be best. She is also quite athletic and can jump a 4-foot fence, so she’ll need a secure yard with a taller fence or to be supervised on a leash. Skye loves being around people and would do best in a home where someone is around often. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who will make a wonderful companion for someone familiar with the Husky breed and ready for a loyal best friend. ##1949965##
