Story
Skyler is 7 years old. She was rehomed to us around 1 year old. An unfortunate situation forced us to move from a country setting to city last summer. Despite getting an outdoor kennel, it has not been a good adjustment and her quality of life is suffering. She’s a very sweet husky with a great personality. Friendly with people but does not like other animals. A fenced in yard is ideal. Skyler loves to run around and play with rope toys and her favorite toy she has is a very durable purple duck/rope toy loves to play tug a war. She also loves to play with basketballs. She loves zoom around while playing, and give lots of kisses.

Story
STAR is a foster-based rescue. All our rescue animals stay in foster homes until adoption. We do not have a central facility. If you want to meet any of our adoptables please submit an application.  Hi! My name is Brulee! I was found in a cardboard box near a dumpster with my two siblings! Thankfully a kind person came along and saved us! The vet thinks I am a husky mix, and maybe mixed with Shepherd or something large because we are chunky babies! My foster mom says I am a ball of fluff and 100% cute! I am a happy pup and love everyone I meet, I love exploring and learning new things. I love my foster siblings and I live with both dogs and cats. If you are interested in meeting me or my brother or sister, please fill out an application! www.linktr.ee/starescue Our adoption fee is $300 and includes food, leash, collar, treats, toy and some other goodies. Vaccinations all up to date, flea/tick/heartworm prevention and we are microchipped!   All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped. AGE DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess.   BREED DISCLAIMER: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label . Microchips: For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!
