Meet Aiko!Quietly gorgeous, ridiculously sweet, and full of soft-girl energy — Aiko is the total package. This 3-year-old Husky mix can be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she becomes a gentle, loving shadow who just wants to be near her people. She’s house trained, polite in the home, doesn’t bark much, doesn’t jump on furniture, and has truly lovely manners.Aiko has done well living with adults, children, another dog, and even a cat, but she’d thrive most in a calm home that isn’t too chaotic. She can coexist with respectful pets, but she’d be happiest somewhere peaceful where she can relax, stretch her legs, and soak up lots of love and attention. If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive best friend who will quietly become your whole heart, Aiko is your girl. Story
Cooper is an almost 3-year-old, 65lbs, white Husky with beautiful blue eyes. This boy breaks the mold by being easygoing, not noisy, rarely howls, and is very calm. He is very loving, human oriented, seeks affection, and enjoys cuddles. He’s good with children, and cats. He is good with dogs 25 lbs or less. He is not good with large dogs. Cooper is NOT a dog park candidate due to this. You must find other ways to give him the enrichment his breed craves. Cooper is always excited to receive visitors in the house and might knock a few things around doing his love dance, so teaching him place, and other impulse control commands, will help curb his enthusiasm. He usually settles after the initial excitement. He loves his walks and can be very excited puller on leash. His new owner must commit to working with him on leash manners. He is not leash reactive unless it's a larger hyped up dog; he doesn't care if it's a smaller dog. He can be redirected as long as the other dog is not getting reactive. Cooper has no known resource guarding concerns, is not bothered by storms or fireworks, he rides well in a car, and can be trusted left uncrated around the house. Naturally this kid is nuts about snow and cold weather :) And it’s a no brainer to say, hot weather is not his thing. He enjoys watching TV especially shows that has animals or animal sounds. Cooper loves his chew toys, which must be durable cause he’ll kill a stuffy in a blink :P Apply here: https://tinyurl.com/TLCdogapp Adoption radius: within 60 miles of zip code 20906. We do not promote any of our dogs as house trained or allergy friendly.

Story
AdoptAPet Inquires are not an application and will be ignored. Looking for a Foster or Adopter Cora is about 1 year old and 50lbs. We think she is a shepherd husky mix, She’s gentle, loving, and smart enough to pick up just about anything you teach her. Cora is happy to be involved in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s playing in the yard, tagging along for adventures, or curling up at your feet. She is great with kids, loves being around her dog buddies. She is crate trained and walks well on leash. You do NOT need a fenced yard to adopt Cora. She’s perfectly content with walks, playtime, and time spent with her people. But if you do have a fenced yard, she should never be left unattended, this athletic girl can scale a 4 foot fence like it’s nothing, so she needs supervision outdoors. Apply here: https://tinyurl.com/TLCdogapp Adoption radius: 60 miles from zip code 20906. Foster radius: 25 miles from zip code 20906. We do not promote any of our dogs as house trained or allergy friendly.

Brody has a heart as big as his personality. With his glossy black coat and soulful eyes, Brody is a loyal companion who’s ready to bring joy to the right family. Brody’s journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s made him the resilient, loving dog he is today. After bouncing between homes, he’s found his stride at Home At Last Sanctuary, Inc., where he’s blossomed into a playful, affectionate, and house-trained pup. Brody’s a healthy, active boy, fully vaccinated and bursting with energy for fun and snuggles. He adores attention, curling up close for love and affection, but also has an independent streak, happily keeping an eye on the household from his favorite spot. Brody gets along wonderfully with other dogs once properly introduced, having shared space with eight foster pals and learned to shine in their company. His leash manners have improved tremendously, making walks a joy! While he’s great with kids who respect his boundaries (with adult supervision), he’d prefer a home without cats, as they’re not his cup of tea. This special pup has a knack for sensing your emotions, offering comfort when you need it most. His unique blend of Chow Chow independence and Pit Bull empathy makes him a one-of-a-kind companion—ready to be your loyal sidekick and cuddle buddy. Due to breed restrictions, Brody can’t be placed where his breeds are restricted, but for the right home, he’s a treasure waiting to be discovered.
