About Him: Our boy is the definition of a people person.He was born in Kansas and joined our family Virginia, and he hasn’t stopped wagging his tail since. He is incredibly affectionate. While he has matured past the puppy destruction phase of house-training, he still has one favorite hobby: stealing socks! He especially loves borrowing his baby brother socks, so he will keep you on your toes. Reason for Rehoming: This is a heartbreaking decision for us. Between a new infant, apartment restrictions, and recent financial changes, we can no longer give him the time and space he deserves. Our priority is finding him a loving family.

Meet Blizzard! He is a 7-year-old Husky boy who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. ❤️ This sweet guy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and 100% housetrained. He has lived with children and cats and has done wonderfully with both. He also does well around other dogs. He is a friendly and affectionate dog who enjoys being around his people and is happy to be part of the family. His current family loves him very much, but their child has autism and is very sensitive to the constant licking and the amount of hair that comes with a long-haired Husky, so they have made the difficult decision to find him a home that is a better fit for everyone. Like many Huskies, he has a beautiful long coat, which also means regular brushing and plenty of shedding—so his future family should be prepared for the fluff that comes with such a gorgeous dog! He would do best with a family who understands the Husky breed, enjoys having a loyal companion, and doesn’t mind a little extra hair around the house. If you’re looking for a sweet, well-mannered, house-trained companion, he could be the perfect addition to your family. 📩 Please reach out if you’re interested in giving this wonderful boy the loving home he deserves. 🐾 He is currently being fostered in Mississippi but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal friendly transport on the road!
