Nova and Shantee have arrived here at HSWC k9 kindergarten. Their mom has signed them up for classes. They are all just starting to open up and figure out how amazing this place is. None of the three of them have had an easy life so far but all that will change now. Good things are coming their way. Unfortunately their previous caretakers were no longer able to look after them. No worries. This single mom has a great attitude and her kids are in good paws!Nova is young and full of questions about life and all these creatures here. "What are the rules? Where do I sleep and get my treats? Am I passing all these tests? I like to bark outside the lines... Is that ok??"She is figuring is out. Here is more about this delightful gal:🐾Easy walker right now. She gets excited and barks with joy.✅Beautiful coat but could use some extra weight to fill out her new school clothes better.Dog testing Results:✅Pass. Ok with sister and mom. Ok at recess. will need to be taught how to manage her excitement level. Should probably look at being in a different class than sister bc the two together tend to protect, gossip and talk back a bit to teacher. They will be better as independent students! 🌕Outside cats are new and exciting to this young pup. She wants to chase and run and ask alot of questions (bark). She is easily redirected when her sister is not around.🟢Nova passed inside cat testing BUT will need some training to teach her how to continue to be friends with kitties.🟢She Loves people but has had a limited experiences. Basic training will help her become more confident. 🌕Go Slow with all new things!🌕Go slow with introductions to kids and over-stimulating situations.⭐️She is a beautiful pup ready to learn how to be her best self. Please come and be a part of her journey. She is highly trainable, willing to please and love unconditionally. Her future is bright, She has a lot to offer her forever family. More information will be given when she graduates about how to successfully transition her from our school to your home. The two week shut down will allow her to learn the new routine, adjust to her new surroundings peacefully and be a well mannered new member of your family. What a wild and wacky few weeks this has been. My life has been turned upside down. My people dropped me off in a crate with my best friend Papa. We slept outside under a tarp. We were very scared. Then they took us to the kennels. Lots of people staring at us. It was my job to protect us. I tried to keep everyone away by showing my teeth to keep us safe... Papa can be a push over. I didn't like people coming near our kennel at first but once out on a walk, I wanted nice petting and sweet talk and liked people much better. From then on I was pretty easy. Papa and I have lived a hard life, we are looking for a place called easy street now. Lots of love. We love to give cuddles. And we love attention. When you meet me, you might not think I'm pretty. Our friends say I'm beautiful but my fur is gone in some spots because I had dem flea critters pretty bad. I'm better now. But might need a sweater for a while. We did our tests well:🟢🐶Dogs ok.🟢🐈‍⬛Cats ok. kinda scary. 🟢🐾 I'm an Easy walker. 52 pounds.🟢 People ok now. A few things we don't know yet are kids. Maybe older kids to start with.⚠️caution with new people approaching my space until i know you. 🟢👩‍⚕️We did ok getting shots and pokes.🟢Sweet personality. Good manners. Neat in my kennel.I'm making my list of new best friends:❤️Someone to give me yummy wet food and pupperonis! ❤️I need a patient and loving home. ❤️I need someone who will help me open up in my time.❤️I need someone who knows how to give nice rubs on my sides. Feels so good!❤️I'm not much for wrestling and jumping all around. I'd like a calm and quiet home. Come and join me in exploring the rest of my life. I want to turn over a new leaf, I will be an amazing companion and we will have wonderful adventures together! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 52.8 Age: 3yrs 1mths 0wks

Please read the bio of the rescue you are interested in to insure you are a match if you are a match the first step is to complete the online adoption application  Indigo is a sweet mixed female pup estimated to be about 7 months old.  She looks to be possibly husky, shepherd and maybe some kind of hound.  She can be a little shy at first but once she warms up she is a real sweetie.   Enjoys romping in the yard.  She is currently working on both leash and crate training.   Has learned sit commandbut will need further training.
