Story
Meet Bear — the bright‑eyed Husky/Lab mix with a heart full of joy. Bear is the kind of puppy who makes every room feel lighter just by trotting into it. With his expressive face, speckled nose, and that “life is good” tongue‑out grin, he’s equal parts adorable goofball and loyal best friend in the making. He’s playful, people‑loving, and eager to be part of whatever his family is doing — whether that’s exploring the yard, learning new things, or flopping down for a well‑earned nap. As a Husky/Lab mix, Bear is smart, energetic, and happiest when he has space to stretch his legs and burn off that puppy enthusiasm. Because of his breed mix, intelligence, and the level of socialization he needs to thrive, Bear requires an adopter who truly knows how to “Husky.” He’ll do best with someone who understands the joy, the chaos, the cleverness, and the daily enrichment that comes with a working‑breed brain. He also requires a dedicated, secure fenced yard in his forever home — a safe space where he can run, explore, and channel all that happy energy. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate companion who will grow into a loyal, active partner for years to come, Bear is ready to meet you — tongue out, tail wagging, and heart wide open. The adoption fee for this puppy is $425 If you are viewing on Petfinder/Adoptapet and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this dog please visit our website, www.frecklesfoundation.org. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs.... all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training! They are up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact age or breed of any animal in our care. The age and breed listed are based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.

Story
Meet Rosie — the bright‑eyed Husky/Lab mix with a soft heart, a sharp mind, and just enough mischief to keep life interesting. Rosie is the kind of puppy who looks at you with those big soulful eyes like she’s innocent… and then immediately proves she is, in fact, a tiny mastermind. With her sweet expression and “I would never… unless?” face, she’s equal parts tender cuddlebug and clever little plotter. She adores people, loves exploring, and thrives when she’s included in the action. As a Husky/Lab mix, Rosie is smart, energetic, and bursting with potential — the kind of pup who blossoms with structure, enrichment, and a human who enjoys a little joyful chaos. Because of her breed mix, intelligence, and the socialization she needs to truly shine, Rosie requires an adopter who knows how to “Husky.” And not just in theory — I mean someone who has lived through the zoomies, the opinions, the dramatic storytelling, and the “I’m too smart for my own good” moments. You know… Huskying. Wink very much intended. Rosie also requires a dedicated, secure fenced yard in her forever home — a safe space where she can run, play, and channel all that happy energy into good choices instead of… creative ones. If you’re looking for a loving, bright, loyal companion who will grow into your adventure buddy, your shadow, and your comedic relief, Rosie is ready to meet you — heart open, tail wiggling, and eyes sparkling with possibility. --- Because of her breed mix, intelligence, and the level of socialization she needs to thrive, Rosie requires an adopter who truly knows how to “Husky.” She’ll do best with someone who understands the joy, the chaos, the cleverness, and the daily enrichment that comes with a working‑breed brain. Meet Clover — the Husky/Lab mix puppy with a soft heart, a sharp mind, and a whole lot of personality packed into one adorable little body. Clover is the kind of pup who looks at you with those big, soulful eyes like she’s the picture of innocence… and then immediately reminds you she is, in fact, a tiny genius with opinions. She loves people, enjoys exploring, and thrives when she’s included in whatever her humans are doing. 🌟 Meet Flynn: Stunning, Sweet, and Still Learning to Trust Flynn is a gorgeous Husky mix with eyes that melt hearts and a spirit that’s slowly blossoming. He’s equal parts cuddle bug and adventurer—and while he adores his people and fellow pups, he’s still healing from a past we may never fully know. Despite whatever hardships he’s faced, Flynn carries no bitterness. He’s incredibly gentle, but shy—especially around new people. Women and children tend to earn his trust a bit faster, though with patience (and treats), he warms up to men, too. Flynn shines at the dog park where his playful energy comes alive. He loves romping with his canine foster siblings, going for walks, and just being part of the pack. When left alone, he does best with the comfort of another confident dog nearby. 🐾 Flynn’s ideal home includes: • A patient, loving person who’s home for much of the day • At least one friendly resident dog to help him gain confidence • A securely fenced yard for sunbathing and outdoor joy He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, on preventatives, and ready to find a family who’ll give him the time and love he needs to truly flourish. If you’re someone who believes in second chances and celebrating progress, Flynn might just be your soulmate in fur. This dog's adoption fee is $550. Story
Introducing Wheeler – the boy who steals hearts everywhere he goes! This 14 month-old, 45 -pound German Shepherd/Husky mix is as smart as he is handsome. Wheeler has already mastered sit and shake with both paws and became fully housebroken in just one week with his foster family. He’s crate trained, learning to walk well on a leash, and eager to soak up everything that’s taught to him.  This boy with the amazing smile and wonderful ears knows how to steal hearts.  Wheeler is a social butterfly who loves everyone—kids, adults, dogs, and even cats. In fact, he’s convinced the cats in his foster home need constant “baths,” which he happily provides with endless affection. He also enjoys curling up in a lap, whether it belongs to a person or another pup. Wheeler’s past wasn’t easy. He and his brother were abandoned, and he was found underweight and wondering what was going to happen next for him. He runs and plays like a kid and he loves to hang out with his foster mom while she works from home.  This boy needs a fenced yard to access easily at all hours of the day if he wants.  A work from home or stay at home mom would be best for this boy since he cannot be happy being crated for 9 hours daily Monday - Friday.  He is wonderful with cats and does well with dogs when playing with them.  He does want all the attention from the humans and has a touch of jealousy sometimes if another dog gets more pets.  He has an amazing resilient spirit and loves to be the center of attention from his family. What makes this particular boy so special isn’t just his good looks or intelligence—it’s his kind heart. He’s grateful for every bit of love and safety he’s found in rescue, and he’s ready to give that love right back to the family lucky enough to call him their own.  If Wheeler sounds like the perfect match for your family, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com. This incredible boy is waiting to meet his forever people, and we know you’ll be smitten from the very first hello. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 11, 2026, 12:09 am
