Tango originally came to Angel Paws in mid-April of 2017. He was adopted July of 2017 for a while however was returned to us November 2021 at no fault of his own. This big boy is very sweet and loving, we feel he would fit best into a laid-back quiet household who enjoys some outdoor playtime. Small dogs and cats are not on his friends list as he does not realize how big he is. (He would do best as an only dog) Tango currently weighs in the100 pound range as of 1/11/2022. He deserves a new loving home, could you be his new fur-ever companion?If interested in adopting Tango please DO NOT click the Adoption Application button above as we will not receive it. Your completed application can be sent in via email to info@angelpawsiberia.com (or via fax at 337-967-2827)Our Shelter visiting hours are MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM TILL NOON & SATURDAY 8AM-11AM (closed on holidays) We are doing adoptions to approved adopters by appointment only (WE DO NOT DO SAME DAY ADOPTIONS, please allow 2-4 business days for application processing) Please submit an adoption application in order to make an appointment. Tony is a pint size husky. He has scars on most of his body from what we think is other dogs. But dont worry this 40lb boy is a lover not a fighter. For all he is been through he is has a super chill laid back demeanor. At his salon day he showered everybody with sweet kisses. We think he is about 4 years old, he walks well on leash and doesn't mind the kennel. He gets along well with other dogs. He is a stunning honey golden color with deep blue eyes that you can loose your soul in. ##1595993##

Story
This stunning brown husky with heterochromia (bi-colored) eyes will stop you in your tracks. He is an owner surrender due to his previous owner being to ill to properly care for him. They are hoping somebody can give him the active lifestyle he deserves. He is a 2 year old male and full of endless energy. He absolutely loves dogs and will play for hours. He has never been around a cat. He knows basic commands sit, down (he learned that one in 10min, he is smart and catches on quickly), shake, and we are working on stay and place. He was potty trained but then his manhood came in and he started to mark things so we are working on that also. He is very well kennel trained. But he is like a sour patch candy; so with the sweet comes some sour. He has struggled with trusting humans since a puppy (probably the result of a covid puppy when we were all quarantining). He will nip at new people, he has to warm up to people and it takes him sometime. This is a behavior that has been worked on and has gotten better but is still being worked on. He needs somebody who understands huskies and will be patient with him while he gains trust in humans. ##1595989##
