Hi! This is my beautiful Korra. I've had her for the past 4/5 months. she's been nothing but a lovable fur child. I adopted her since she was a baby. Due to unseen circumstances with work I won't be able to give her much of my time. She's house broken so she will hold her pee and poop for as long as she can until she can get outside. About her: She's very energetic, even after long walks she'll nap for 10 minutes and she's ready for another round. Loves attention; she will do anything possible to get your attention. LOVES belly rubs. The first thing she wants when I get home is for me to rub her belly. Loves to play fetch although after the 4th throw she'll make you grab it. What I'm looking for: I'm looking for a family that will take her in and treat her like family. A family that has the time, energy, and space for her to roam around. Mainly a family that understands how much maintenance a husky will need.

Phoenix is such a sweet and loving dog, but needs to be in a home where she is the only dog. She is between 3-4 years old. We need to find a new home for her because she is not getting along with our other dogs. We rescued her from a hoarding situation where if she had stayed any longer, she wouldn't have made it. She is potty trained and loves to play, snuggle, swim, and gives the best kisses. She deserves to live a long happy life.

Meet BOLT - Paws Behind Bars Trained BOLT is a 5-year-old male, Husky mix who weighs 45 lbs. After a long stint at the shelter (we dont know why), Bolt's freedom ride came the day we chose to pull him and enroll him in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. Bolt's temperament is excellent! He's fun and he's active. He envisions himself a "lady's man" and is particularly fond of the girl dogs in the program. He's got that strut! His one male dog friend is our resident mastiff mix. (Mr. Active and Mr. Couch Potato?) As husky owners know, he's a talkative fellow and loves being the center of attention. On a more serious side, Bolt has been completely trained in basic obedience. He is also leash, crate and house trained. Anybody who's ever trained a husky knows they think they are "know it alls" and can be stubborn at times. Bolt is just graduating from the program and is available for adoption now. Bolt's perfect family will be an active one that enjoys running, hiking, going to new places and then downtime for belly rubs. This is information straight from his inmate!
