Story
Shel is a husky mix ( DNA test results available) who is as sweet as she is beautiful. She gets along great with other dogs and even cats, and is friendly with all humans too- she loves kids! Shel is currently around 65lbs but could stand to loose some weight. She does well on a leash and is completely housebroken. She also doesn’t need a crate when left alone- but does bark for a bit so apartments may not be the best. She knows sit, paw, and down.  This smart, sweet girl would do well with anyone- she loves being outside or cuddling up with her person.  She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention January 22, 2025, 8:39 pm

Story
Well-mannered , smart , gentle and affectionate best describe this beautiful beauty. Tundra is eager to please and has a calm & bright temperament with medium energy. He came in and made my dogs at ease from the beginning. He left the cat alone - curious but respectful. This boy has a gorgeous off white coat with some tan /yellow hues and loved his bath. He is on the smaller size of Large at 54 lbs at 1 year old. He laid down for the whole car ride & decompressed, one could see the stress fall off as he knew he was safe. So far - always doing his business outside. He played well with my dog and takes correction without issue. He's been very respectful of my alpha Chi -turning away if she corrects. He is leash and obedience training very fast & this won't take long given his intellect. He greeted a neighbor and their two kids very respectfully. He is calm and a happy boy who will make a very lucky family so happy.January 28, 2025, 9:52 pm

Story
Thor is about 6.5 months old now and is honestly very sweet. I got the little guy from the family member of a close friend so I figured everything should be fine. Overall, he is a very good dog, but extremely skittish. Like scared of everything, even me. I feel like he just needs someone that can be with him a lot more through the day and he will break out of his shell and be one of the fun-loving husky's that we know and love. From what I can tell the previous owner who had both mother and father were pretty good with dogs and wouldn't have abused him or anything, but I work a lot. 10-hour days, on top of being a community event planner and small business owner. My girlfriend isn't much help either, so another home with more time to spend with him would be in his best interest. He's not very vocal like most husky's, he 'talks' a little but mostly when he is ready to be let outside. I will give his XL cage, toys, paperwork, and any food left to his new owners as well.

Story
Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption only, in San Antonio or TX area, $200.
