Due to limited resources and time, we will not be answering questions or returning calls until we have an approved application. That is the first step in our adoption process. The adoption fee is $200 Applications can be found on our website: https://www.jessaminehumanesociety.org Linda is a sweet, female Husky. She is about 85% kennel trained. In a home setting with routine and consistency, she would quickly be completed kennel trained. She walks well on a leash. She likes children and doesn't mind cats. She's a very sweet girl with lots of Husky energy. She respects a 6ft fence and does not try to dig or jump it. She gets along with other dogs. The only thing she will need help with is manners. She has never gotten to live in a loving home. She came from a place where safety, consistency and food was never stable. Linda needs a second chance at life. She has been spayed, is UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped.

He will do best in a home with no other male dogs. He had to compete for alpha for too long. He does well with children, but a home with older children would be best because of his excitability. He has lots of energy and loves to run and play. The staff at our local shelter has worked with him. He is social and friendly. Naturally, he loves the cold weather.

Story
Keenan is a Husky mix with a unique look. We believe he is a young adult between 1 & 3 yrs old. His size is about 65 lbs and he is always ready for fun and adventure. He loves having company and he is good with other nice dogs. He was found as a stray and not claimed. He is a little apprehensive with children, though he easily meets new adults. We don't have info on his past and we haven't had him in a home to know his housebreaking habits, but we feel he likely is. He is well behaved and he has those ice blue eyes. He is sure to please those Husky lovers! A fenced yard or securely leashed routine is required for Keenan's safety. Our shelter is located at 121 Echo Hollow Rd. Clay City, Ky. 859.948.0371 is a contact to answer any questions. His fee is $175 and will include his neuter, vaccines, de-worming, HW test and preventative.
