Story
Meet Dipper, a 4-year-old Husky in search of a loving family to call his own! At first, he may be a little reserved as he takes his time sniffing around and getting comfortable in his environment. But once he’s had a chance to check things out, he’s all about getting attention! Huskies are known for their independent nature, but Dipper is quite the people-lover and enjoys being around his humans. He’s also full of energy and loves playtime, though he definitely has his sweet, mellow moments as well. Dipper is heartworm-positive, but we have started treatment and will be covering the cost. We have introduced Dipper to other dogs and he was much more interested in playing with some rather than others. He could potentially do well with another dog in the home, as long as it`s a good fit! This handsome guy is ready to find a family who will love him and give him the attention he deserves. Could he be the perfect match for you?

Story
KC Miller is the best good boy! He initially came to us in January of 2021 from an overcrowded shelter when he was put on the euthanasia list. He was adopted out and had a dad who loved him very, very much. Imagine our shock and sadness when we recently got a call from Gary Animal Control that they had KC Miller! Unfortunately, his dad had passed away. So terribly sad, and so devastating for KC. But thank goodness for microchips, as they were able to contact us and we went and got him out of AC immediately! So now we are once again trying to find this guy a forever home. Back in 2021, he was a husky's husky. What do we mean by that? No dog, and I mean NO DOG, has ever been a bigger escape artist (in our experience) than KC. He had to be supervised at all times. Oh, the stories we could tell (like the time he got out of the yard and wandered into a stranger's home as they were bringing groceries in from the car, just walked in like he owned the place!) Now that he has matured some (he will be 5 years old this summer), he seems to have settled down quite a bit and doesn't seem quite as keen on adventures - which doesn't mean he wouldn't go on one if he was given the opportunity :) He is just as friendly with people and with other dogs as he ever was. When he was fostered with us initially, he used to go to doggy daycare and he loved it! Now he is fostered with other dogs and we've had him at adoption events with other dogs and he's still just as happy. Probably a bit TOO interested in the kitties, though. He's a very, very sweet boy. KC is incredibly smart and affectionate to boot. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $250.

He definitely prefers older children, probably teens and up. He doesn't seem too fond of little kids. He's a very, very sweet boy. KC is incredibly smart and affectionate to boot. Story
Meet Rocky James! Look at those eyes! They are icy blue and are even more piercing in person! This guy is a total goofball. He's got long, lanky legs with paws that flop all over. If you have a tennis ball, you are his absolute best friend. Rocky James would love it so much if he found an active family to adopt him. He is an energetic boy, as most two-year-old totally pawsome huskies are, so he'd be thrilled if whoever adopted him had the same personality! The nose on this guy is that of a professional sniffer! If Rocky James catches a whiff of a tasty snack, this guy is right by your side asking for a nibble! We would love to find an adopter for Rocky James who is familiar with huskies and can give this good boy lots of happy memories, like hiking, snuggling, car rides, beach walks, endless tennis balls, etc., as he is so deserving of them! He is about 55-pounds (is a little underweight) and he is neutered. Rocky James is accustomed to living with a female dog in the home and we think he'd be such an awesome furbro to your kiddos if they are teenagers and older. He asks for no kitties! Don't miss the chance to add this pup to your home!
