He is somewhat insecure so an owner that is confident would be ideal for this adolescent. Trip loves life, and everything around him. He simply just needs to learn some boundaries when it comes to personal space, and expressing his enthusiasm. Remember he is still a puppy. Maggie - Female, 1 year and 52 pounds. I am a big baby. I was a stray and I was running loose quite often, but the shelter didn’t know which house I lived at in order to attempt to reunite me. My owner never came looking for me. I love when you throw a tennis ball and I chase after it like a goober but I won’t pick it up. I really like to be outside. I am going to need a secure fence and someone with husky experience. The shelter staff really care about me and they don’t want to see me running loose anymore. I have the most beautiful eyes and energetic soul. I have been an angel with potty training here and I haven’t made any messes. I know how to sit and I’m working on my other basic commands. I’m potty trained and my foster says I am a very smart girl!

Story
Artimis is a 2 year old Siberian Husky. He is a goofy, loving dog. He was adopted from the shelter at 1 years old by previous owner as an emotional support animal. I took him in shortly after as they couldn’t care for him. Unfortunately I am now working 2 jobs and hardly ever home and it’s unfair to him. He is an active high energy dog. Hoping to find someone who will be able to keep up with him and his needs! He goes in his crate when we are not home or else he’ll chew things up. We have other dogs and cats and he does play with them a bit rough at times. He doesn’t realize how big he is and how small they are. He’s just a typically husky. Loves to howl, play, be outside in the cold/snow. Must always have him on a leash or lead or else he will run for miles. Rabies renew on 7-25-27, distemper 7-25-25, bordetella 7-25-25. He eats twice a day. 1 1/2 cup of purina dog chow mixed with blue wilderness. Any other questions or concerns just ask!

Archie is a 3 year old Siberian Husky he is very affectionate and loves attention. I acquired him from a former coworker who was going through marital problems and needed a temporary home for Archie while he found a new place to live. After having Archie in my care for 2 years now all my attempts to contact the previous owners have gone unanswered. I have more recently moved from my former residence in the country to a place in town. With the new place being smaller both inside and out he has become quite anxious due to no longer having the space he is accustomed to. In addition to this I have a child on the way which will further restrict the amount of space for him as well as the amount of time and attention that I can give him. He really is a good boy and deserves more space and attention than I am able to provide. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you feel like you can provide Archie with his forever home!

He has been training to sit and wait at the door to go outside and to sit and wait by his food dish until he is given permission.

Hi, my name is Mishka! I'm a pretty black Chow Chow. I've been with my foster mom for almost 2 months now. I enjoy chewing on natural chews and playing with plush toys. My foster mom isn't sure if I am hard of hearing or not, but it has made walks a bit hard by increasing my reactivity when on walks. I get too focused when I see cats, so foster mom says no cats for me! If I had to live with another dog, this princess would rather prefer a laid back male. I would love to go visit a sniffspot location so I could decompress or have a home with a privacy fence so that I could have fun in my backyard and not worry so much about other animals. I am more independent, so if you're not a big cuddler and just like to coexist near one another in the same room, I'm your gal! I am crate trained. I got to my crate easily while foster mom is at work and it's bedtime. I eat my food in my crate and it's my safe place. I really can't wait to find my forever people. Hey, my name is Kitsune! I'm a beautiful red headed Chow Chow. I am a people kind of dog. My foster mom says I'm a bit too much for cats and wouldn't prefer me to live with them. In my idea home, I'd love if I just didn't have to worry about other animals. I love my people, spending time with them, and cuddling them. I'm getting better with my resource guarding regarding food, and I'm fed in my crate. It's my safe place! I am crate trained and will crate up easily while foster mom is at work and during bedtime. When it comes to chews, I prefer natural ones like hooves, ears, etc. I'm not the biggest fan of toys right now. I am house broken besides the occasional marking on my blanket in my crate. I love food and my food motivation has helped me in my reactivity journey while on walks. When I see other people, I like to talk to them.
