Story
This is our beloved husky Bella. She is 11 years old and her birthday is 11/15/2014. She has been a part of our family since she was 6 weeks old. Bella has been with her dog brother Kyle (Australian shepherd) since the very beginning. Since 2024 we have welcomed two babies into our family and that was a big adjustment for the dogs and for us. We have found our other dog a loving home and now we are looking for one for Bella. She is a very sweet dog. Very affectionate and laid back with her age. I think of not recommend a home with cats or outside animals like chickens. With her being a husky she has killed many small animals in her life but has always gotten along with other dogs. I would say she prefers a companion even. With her brother being gone in his new home she has definitely been going through a depression and it is heart breaking. She is also living in the garage now instead of indoors like she had her whole life. We want a good life for Bella and love her very much!

Story
💙Meet Denver💙Sweet Denver is back with us due to unforeseen circumstances, and this big snow-loving goofball is hoping his true forever family is out there. ❄️Denver is 2 years old, and he originally came to us in 2024. We learned pretty quickly that he prefers to be the only pet in the home, and he’s a bit too energetic for kiddos under 12. After waiting 184 days, he finally found his perfect person… but tragically, his owner passed away. Denver tried living with the family, but with another dog in the home, it just wasn’t the right fit.But here’s the part we really want you to know:Denver is one of the goofiest, sweetest, and most well-behaved dogs you’ll ever meet. He walks great on a leash, knows how to sit, and absolutely lights up when he sees snow. He’s smart, loyal, and happiest when he’s outside exploring or playing. He’s the kind of dog who will make you laugh every single day with his silly personality.Denver doesn’t need much — just a home where he can be the center of attention, soak up love, and enjoy life with his person by his side. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy or a best friend who will keep you smiling, Denver might just be your guy. 🐾💛

TundraHusky2 yrs old57 poundsI came to the shelter as a stray.I like to play with other dogs, and I especially like to play with toys. The squeaky toys are the best!I have a beautiful white husky coat and some amazing ears to go with it.I am learning to walk on a loose leash but still need some time to perfect.I also enjoy jogging alongside a bike. I get to burn lots of energy that way.I would benefit from an active household. To be my best self.

Meet Rio!Age: 8 yearsBreed: HuskyWeight: 49 lbsStatus: Heartworm-free and ready for a forever home!Rio came to us as a stray, underweight and heartworm positive — but look at him now! After completing his heartworm treatment and packing on some healthy pounds, this handsome guy is looking and feeling so much better. He still has a sensitive tummy, so he’ll need to stay on his special i/d diet to keep him feeling his best.Rio is a gentle, laid-back soul who enjoys the company of other calm dogs. He’s not a fan of cats (he thinks they’re fun to chase!), so a feline-free home would be best for him. He absolutely loves going on walks and hikes and would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys the outdoors but doesn’t need a high-energy dog.I would do best in a home with older kids. The younger kids make me nervous. If you`re looking for a loyal, mellow buddy who’s been through a lot and is ready to enjoy the good life, Rio might just be your perfect match. Come meet this sweet guy and see for yourself why we all adore him!

Story
Looking to rehome our 4 year old Husky Chica. She is a wonderful, friendly, energetic, loving dog. Chica was raised with our other dog and they got along great. She has done well with our toddler, but we always taught our toddler to respect Chica and not jump on her, pull her ears, etc. She is house trained as far as going outside and will let you know if she has to go (goes to the door) although I would be patient at the beginning getting to know a new home. She can sit, wait, lay down, and speak. Leash training has been challenging and she could use some additional training just polishing up some house behaviors. Although we're sad to rehome her, our schedules have gotten increasingly demanding and we are not able to give her the attention and exercise she needs/deserves. We're looking for a home with experience owning energetic breeds and particularly interested if you're big into the outdoors and taking dogs on hikes/camping. We feel Chica would THRIVE in home like that.

Story
Weight: 🍏 Meet Granny Smith – crisp, cool, and slightly confused by... everything. No, she’s not a senior citizen—we promise. Granny Smith is actually a young husky mix, but she was released from a breeder situation where no one taught her the basics of being a family dog. So now she’s starting fresh… like a brand-new apple off the tree. 🧊 She’s shy. Like, “Are you a human or a tree?” shy. She won’t come running up to you with tail wags and kisses—yet. But give her time, and she’ll start to peek out from her shell, sniff around, and maybe even give a tiny tail wag of approval. 🚫 Not potty trained. ✅ Learning every day. 🏠 Needs a patient, calm home that understands “puppy in progress.” She’s like software still downloading—don’t expect full features yet, but updates are coming. 💗 Underneath the nerves and husky-level fluff is a gentle soul who’s never had the chance to just be a puppy. She’s looking for someone kind, patient, and willing to celebrate small wins—like using the potty outside or not thinking the couch is suspicious. 🎓 With consistency, love, and snacks (lots of snacks), Granny Smith will blossom into the sweet, loyal companion she was always meant to be. 🍎 Just don’t expect her to fetch your slippers yet. She’s still figuring out what slippers are. Dogs: Does well Cats: Unknown Kids: 10+ rec, everyone in the home has to meet!! I am in a foster home. an appointment must be scheduled to meet me! call today to arrange a visit!
