Echo Foxtrot`s Compatibility: Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - UnknownKids - YesEcho Foxtrot isn’t just a name—it’s a call sign for adventure! This high-energy young Husky is always ready to jet off on his next mission, whether that’s playing, exploring, or making new friends.True to his breed, Echo Foxtrot is an active dog who thrives with exercise and engagement. He’s looking for a co-pilot who’s ready to keep up! If you love outdoor adventures, running, or just an energetic companion, he’ll be right there by your side.Echo has lived with kids (ages 4 and 14) and loves to play. He’s still learning not to be too bouncy and mouthy, so he’d do best with a family ready to guide him as he grows. And while he may have a habit of sneaking snacks off your plate if given the chance, his enthusiasm for food makes him a great candidate for training—he just needs someone willing to teach him the ropes. At home, Echo Foxtrot is full of personality. He’s talkative, expressive, and never shy about sharing his thoughts. He hasn`t been destructive in the house, but he will need an outlet for all that Husky energy. If you`re looking for a fun-loving, spirited companion who’s always up for action, Echo Foxtrot is ready for takeoff! Come meet him today!-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. Story
If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Adoption Application.   ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.  Luna Moon is a 40 lb., 7 year old white husky with beautiful blue eyes.  She is a tripod that came to ARPO after being hit by a car requiring her to have her leg amputated.  Being a tripod does not intimidate her and she is mastering stairs with ease.  She is fine being crated, is house trained, loves people, kids and cats.  She is mostly a quiet dog and calm in the evenings. Initially not socialized with dogs, she struggled to accept the resident dogs at first, but given time, she has come a long way in being tolerant of them especially the male. She will need a slow introduction to a new dog and would be more tolerant with a male or a submissive female. She is a great walker and would do well with someone who is able to provide frequent walks, but being a tripod should be taken into consideration. She would not be good for frequent long hikes. She is a happy dog who loves the winter weather.  We believe she came from a home without a fenced yard and is fine going out leashed or being let out in a fenced yard. His right front leg was amputated on 12/26/24. However, he has adapted well and runs and moves as if he had four legs. Storm is very friendly, loving, smart, is potty trained and gets along well with the 10 year old cattle dog in his foster home. He has one blue eye and one brown eye and has a beautifully colored coat. Storm loves the cold weather and the snow! He is full of energy and would do best in a home with a fenced in yard. He loves attention and getting all the affection you can give! Storm will adapt easily to a loving home. He has been neutered, microchipped, HW negative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please complete the online Adoption Application.  If you would like to donate to this pet's care, please click here.
