Loki Poki`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - No, thank you!Kids - Prefers adultsLoki Poki is the huskiest husky to have ever huskied! This quirky young Husky has a personality as unique as his name! Loki Poki was surrendered because his previous owner didn’t have enough time for him, but that just means he’s ready for a fresh start with someone who can match his energy and sense of fun.Loki Poki is housebroken and crate-trained, and he’s already mastered commands like “sit” and “bedtime”—where he heads straight to his crate like a pro. He’s a bit possessive about his food, though, so he’ll need an adult-only home where his mealtime space is respected. Loki isn’t a fan of cats, but he’s open to meeting other dogs, so bring your pup by the shelter for a meet and greet!True to his Husky nature, Loki Poki is a hilarious character who loves to `woo` his way through life, always adding some vocal flair. With the right training and guidance, Loki will be the perfect companion for an active household that loves a bit of Husky weirdness!-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. Sometimes his excitement leads to a little jumping or mouthy behavior, but with some training, Buddy will be a well-mannered companion ready to join in all your holiday fun. He’s also got a mischievous side and has been known to escape a fenced yard, so he`ll need supervision outside to prevent any `Buddy`s big escape` moments. Story
Beautiful Female black and white husky needs to be rehomed. Sassy Sasha is a Siberian husky registered with CKC. Needs a home with NO small children and NO small animals. Other dogs ok if introduced properly. Cats ok. She has attacked our small dogs and she bit my child. Sasha needs a home where the people understand dog language and their signals. She would thrive in a home where she is allowed to be the alpha dog. She needs a good husky owner. She is very stubborn. She is super smart, enjoys dog puzzles and playing with toys. She is crate trained and loves car rides. She is also super spoiled, we feed her dog kibble with vegetables and different toppings through the week. (Egg, liver, honey, fish). I could write 5 pages about how awesome this dog is and we will take serious inquiries only. Please only knowledgeable dog people. Sasha needs a strong alpha person.

Story
This is my baby Draco. It hurts to have to post this but I do. I am finally moving out of a bust down one bedroom apartment, and they will only let me take one of my dogs and I have to say she’s a service dog . My mom first adopted Draco when I was 15. She left him with her ex friend for around a year a half about 2 years after we had him. He was neglected and abused. He ended back up at the shelter and I was able to claim him. My original intent was to rehome him but I held on to him. But now that I can only take one dog I have to. He is a funny quirky loveable boy. He has bronchitis from allergies and needs to be given Benadryl twice a day to help him. I just recently took him to the vet where they told me this. He coughs, hacks, and wheezes but hopefully this will get better once he is on the Benadryl for a little bit. I would also please ask you take him to your vet and see what they recommend. Before adopting I will want to do a home visit and introductions between any other anim

Story
Scout is a very smart, high energy Husky mix. He loves other dogs and plays especially well with larger dogs. He is house trained and has been through novice training class. He knows sit, down, his name/come, and place. He is a lovey baby who wants to snuggle in the couch with you and go everywhere you go. Scout is extremely athletic and can jump a baby gate with ease. He loves hiking and is accustomed to long daily walks. Because he’s smart, he also does well with training and brain teaser toys. The only reason he is being rehomed is because he is obsessed with our cats and will not leave them alone. We’ve worked closely with a force-free trainer, and he just wants to chase them all the time. The cats are miserable. Scout would do very well in a home with other dog(s) and I suspect would prefer it. He does have separation anxiety and will do best with another dog or a home where owners aren’t gone a lot.

Messi is a 7-year-old Husky mix seeking a loving, calm home. He’s house-trained, knows basic commands, and walks well on a leash. Messi loves being with his people and is affectionate and loyal. He’s typically good with other dogs (meet and greet required) but would do best in a home without children.

Story
Meet Balto! This senior fellow came to Helping Paws from the shelter with a bum back leg. We had him checked out by our vets and it was discovered that he has old ligament damage to that knee. That doesn't slow him down, though! Now that he has pain meds to be given as needed, he is a happy boy! He does well with other dogs and ignores the cats in his foster home. He is all Husky for sure, so people with breed experience would be preferred, but not required. He hasn't been around a lot of kids, but he is friendly with people. We suggest older children because he does occasionally take treats pretty roughly and we wouldn't want little fingers to be bitten. He is house trained and crate trained! He loves to curl up on the couch and nap, like any older gentleman would :) Balto's adoption fee is $200 and with that he comes neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He's also been on heartworm and flea prevention. Interested in meeting him? Visit www.helpingpawsonline.com/adoption-application
