Story
Meet Aristotle! This very special approximately 3-year-old boy is looking for a special home to call his own! He was found as a stray and is very timid with people. He has opened up A LOT to his foster family and loves to give kisses and cuddles, but new people and environments are still a struggle for him, and he will require an owner to have patience with him. He can and will go over a 6-foot fence, so he will need to be on a leash when outside. He is very much a husky in so many ways - independent, silly, and stubborn :) He is very dog friendly, and we will require him to go to a home with a confident dog that he can learn from. He gets excited to see cats, must mostly ignores them after the initial excitement wears off. We are working on house and crate training, and he is very used to wearing a male wrap when in the house while learning. Aristotle's adoption fee is $100 and he will come fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee also includes a one-time training consultation with our training partner, It's a Breeze Dog Training, to help integrate him into your home! Interested in meeting Aristotle? Story
Meet Balto! This older gentleman was found as a stray and is now looking for the perfect home to call his own! He is approximately 10 years old and is your typical husky in that he LOVES the outdoors. His foster mom has a hard time getting him inside more days! When inside, he loves to be cuddle up in a blanket - preferably with his people. He does well with the other dogs in his foster home, but mostly just ignores them as well as the cats. He came to us with some issues with his back leg, but regular exercise and some pain meds help keep him mobile and happy. Balto's adoption fee is sponsored (with an approved application) and he will come fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Balto will also come with a one time training session with our training partner - It's a Breeze Dog Training - to help you integrate him into your home! Interested in meeting Balto? Story
This is my baby Draco. It hurts to have to post this but I do. I am finally moving out of a bust down one bedroom apartment, and they will only let me take one of my dogs and I have to say she’s a service dog . My mom first adopted Draco when I was 15. She left him with her ex friend for around a year a half about 2 years after we had him. He was neglected and abused. He ended back up at the shelter and I was able to claim him. My original intent was to rehome him but I held on to him. But now that I can only take one dog I have to. He is a funny quirky loveable boy. He has bronchitis from allergies and needs to be given Benadryl twice a day to help him. I just recently took him to the vet where they told me this. He coughs, hacks, and wheezes but hopefully this will get better once he is on the Benadryl for a little bit. I would also please ask you take him to your vet and see what they recommend. Before adopting I will want to do a home visit and introductions between any other anim

Story
Scout is a very smart, high energy Husky mix. He loves other dogs and plays especially well with larger dogs. He is house trained and has been through novice training class. He knows sit, down, his name/come, and place. He is a lovey baby who wants to snuggle in the couch with you and go everywhere you go. Scout is extremely athletic and can jump a baby gate with ease. He loves hiking and is accustomed to long daily walks. Because he’s smart, he also does well with training and brain teaser toys. The only reason he is being rehomed is because he is obsessed with our cats and will not leave them alone. We’ve worked closely with a force-free trainer, and he just wants to chase them all the time. The cats are miserable. Scout would do very well in a home with other dog(s) and I suspect would prefer it. He does have separation anxiety and will do best with another dog or a home where owners aren’t gone a lot.
