Story
Artimis is a 2 year old Siberian Husky. He is a goofy, loving dog. He was adopted from the shelter at 1 years old by previous owner as an emotional support animal. I took him in shortly after as they couldn’t care for him. Unfortunately I am now working 2 jobs and hardly ever home and it’s unfair to him. He is an active high energy dog. Hoping to find someone who will be able to keep up with him and his needs! He goes in his crate when we are not home or else he’ll chew things up. We have other dogs and cats and he does play with them a bit rough at times. He doesn’t realize how big he is and how small they are. He’s just a typically husky. Loves to howl, play, be outside in the cold/snow. Must always have him on a leash or lead or else he will run for miles. Rabies renew on 7-25-27, distemper 7-25-25, bordetella 7-25-25. He eats twice a day. 1 1/2 cup of purina dog chow mixed with blue wilderness. Any other questions or concerns just ask!

Story
AVAI'm just a young girl with the most striking topaz eyes, and beautiful red coat. I prefer to be with women, because men can make me somewhat nervous. It may take me time to warm up to you, but once I do, I promise you will have a friend for life.I am currently working with a trainer to help build my confidence, and let my lovely personality shine. As for my heritage, well I'm part Husky, so I'll need a secure fenced yard and due to my shyness no children please.DOB 12/27/2020 53 poundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Trip is waiting for an owner who is willing to enjoy his energy and provide outlets to exercise both his mind and body. He is somewhat insecure so an owner that is confident would be ideal for this adolescent. Trip loves life, and everything around him. He simply just needs to learn some boundaries when it comes to personal space, and expressing his enthusiasm. Remember he is still a puppy. Trip has a tremendous amount of potential to be a wonderful member of someone's family. He is also quite handsome. Trip is a mix of husky/shepherd and will need a fence.DOB 1/15/23 46 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Archie is a 3 year old Siberian Husky he is very affectionate and loves attention. I acquired him from a former coworker who was going through marital problems and needed a temporary home for Archie while he found a new place to live. After having Archie in my care for 2 years now all my attempts to contact the previous owners have gone unanswered. I have more recently moved from my former residence in the country to a place in town. With the new place being smaller both inside and out he has become quite anxious due to no longer having the space he is accustomed to. In addition to this I have a child on the way which will further restrict the amount of space for him as well as the amount of time and attention that I can give him. He really is a good boy and deserves more space and attention than I am able to provide. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you feel like you can provide Archie with his forever home!

Story
Maggie - Female, 1 year and 52 pounds. I am a big baby. I was a stray and I was running loose quite often, but the shelter didn’t know which house I lived at in order to attempt to reunite me. My owner never came looking for me. I love when you throw a tennis ball and I chase after it like a goober but I won’t pick it up. I really like to be outside. I am going to need a secure fence and someone with husky experience. The shelter staff really care about me and they don’t want to see me running loose anymore. I have the most beautiful eyes and energetic soul. I have been an angel with potty training here and I haven’t made any messes. I know how to sit and I’m working on my other basic commands. I’m potty trained and my foster says I am a very smart girl!

Story
Meet Brody! He's got the best ears and is an excited, fun-loving guy! He is about ten months old, is neutered, and is one smart cookie! If you need a jogging partner, this dude is perfect for you! We could see him being thrilled to get to log those miles with you. Brody has being a good boy covered. He knows how to sit and he takes treats so nicely. He is SO motivated to learn! The perfect student! We are teaching him how to walk politely on a leash as he is about 55-pounds so nice leash-walking skills are great to have! If you have another welcoming dog, Brody could be such a fun fur-bro to them. He has loved playing with other energetic shelter pups. He loves high speeds and playing chase! If your cat is dog-savvy, Brody had some great play-bows once he got used to them! There are so many awesome things that we love so much about Brody. He is affectionate, interactive, loving, and so handsome. We'd love to find an adopter who will continue to teach Brody lots of good-boy manners because he is smart enough to learn whatever you teach! He's a treat-motivated pup which is great! Come to MHS and meet him!
