Story
We adopted Cleo when she was just over 1 year old. She was put up for adoption due to the previous owners being allergic. We love her but we have become too busy for her need. She becomes restless and escapes. She is not aggressive very sweet baby who loves other dogs and very caring to kids. She needs a family that can provide her with the adventures that can keep her busy, happy, and very active. We want her to find a family that will love her just as much as we do.

Story
Trip is waiting for an owner who is willing to enjoy his energy and provide outlets to exercise both his mind and body. He is somewhat insecure so an owner that is confident would be ideal for this adolescent. Trip loves life, and everything around him. He simply just needs to learn some boundaries when it comes to personal space, and expressing his enthusiasm. Remember he is still a puppy. Trip has a tremendous amount of potential to be a wonderful member of someone's family. He is also quite handsome. Trip is a mix of husky/shepherd and will need a fence.DOB 1/15/23 46 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Nyko is 2 years old. She loves to play outdoors. Her favorite game is playing chase, but she also loves to play fetch, tug, and doing tricks. She walks decent on a leash and responds well to commands. I used a collar with tones during training. She is crate trained for while people are away. She loves kids. A ball of energy! All her shots are up to date. I will give you copies of her records. She is on flea medicine monthly and a yearly heartworm shot. She is very well taken care of. Just needs a good home who can continue to take good care of her as well. With the adoption, she has a furniture style corner kennel (see pic) for while you are not home. I will send all her toys and a small bag of food to get you started. She is currently being fostered until I am able to find her a permanent home. Any additional questions, please just ask.

Story
Meet Willow!  Willow is 9 years old, weighs in at 42# and is a gorgeous Husky!   She came to us after a change in her owners life circumstance and is now looking for her retirement home.    Willow is a very well behaved lady! She keeps a clean kennel and walks good on a leash.   Willow is a NO for cats in her home.    Her previous family said she is good with older kids, but small kids make her uneasy.    Willow prefers to be the only dog in her home, but she will tolerate younger dogs who respect her boundaries. She does not like dogs who are dominate over her.    Spayed, heartworm & lyme negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $80, as she is a "senior".    If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted our staff will review and then contact you to set up a meet and greet! If it's a match, you can take home on the same day. Any other dogs in the home must come in for a meet & greet! We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!    Closed Sunday/Thursday    11-4 Saturday/Monday   11-5 Tuesday/Friday    11-6 Wednesday ##2357037##

Story
Hi, I'm Wally! I was brought in as a stray by animal control, but was never reclaimed. I'm an active and friendly boy who prefers the outdoors.   I'm new here, so the staff is still learning about me and will add more information as I get comfortable!   Wally is a NO for kitties and small animals in his new home as he does have a prey drive.   We have not formally introduced him to other dogs here at FCAC.  Wally does think he needs to protect his toys and his food/treats and this may cause an issue with other dogs in the home if they cannot be separated at feeding time and supervised.    For this reason we are also recommending, if any kids are in his new home, they are ages 10 and up.    Neutered, heartworm & lyme negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption Fee has been sponsored in memory of Tanner Virgil.
