***THIS PET IS NOT AT OSWEGO ANIMAL HOSPITAL, BUT IN A FOSTER HOME. PLEASE EMAIL TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET HER!!!*** Meet Grizzly! AKA Clark Grizzwold (she is a girl of many nicknames already). Grizzly is a sweet and sassy, playful and vocal Husky mix who was brought to us after she was left behind at a local campground when a resident was moving. The neighbors took the three sisters in but had to find placement so we stepped in to help. They are approximately 8 months old, and are primarily Husky but we can't help but feel like there is something else there... maybe Pom? Aussie? we honestly don't have the slightest clue. BUT, what we do know is that Grizzly is a nice medium sized dog, typical husky coat and a tongue "blep" to die for. She is almost 100% potty trained, just needs some guidance and can't have complete run of the house yet if not supervised. She is crate trained and crates well when her foster is at work and over night. She gets along with all 6 of her foster moms dogs (from 40 lbs to 125 lbs, males and females). Grizzly is VOCAL. She is likely not a good choice for an apartment, or townhome, unless you have thick walls. She is quiet in the crate but barks once she knows people are up and moving, if she needs something or if she is excited. It is not surprising because of her breed mix but we want everyone to be aware before adopting. She would be a great dog for outdoor adventures and dog friends. She and her sister are still in the same foster home, but we feel it is likely in their best interest to be separated due to possible lifelong sibling syndrome, unless someone was VERY committed to the two girls to go together. Their third sister is in a separate foster home already and doing great. Grizzly's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip and fecal/heartworm testing. Please email helpsavepetsapps@gmail.com for more information or to set up a meet and greet.

Story
Hi there, my name is Maggie, and I am 7-year-old Siberian Husky. I'm quite the beauty with my all-white fur and striking ice-blue eyes! Im a nice medium size at 43lbs. My Owner surrendered me to a shelter because they couldn't take care of me anymore. My angel from Treasured Animal Rescue saw me there, just sitting so calmly in my kennel - just waiting. Now, I'm in a foster home with other dogs & cats, and I do well with them. I am interested in the cats and like to sniff them, but I never chase them. Once, a kitty swatted me. I thought they wanted to play, but my foster mom corrected me because she knew the kitty didnt want to play. I take correction very well and I just want to please. Im pretty good on a leash. When I go on a walk, I dont pull. If youre looking for a walking buddy, I would LOVE to take walks with you! I know some basic commands and I really enjoy the company of humans. I just want to be with my humans and get lots of pets. I am very good with kids. My foster family has three teens, and I really like them. Despite being middle aged, I have good energy and would do well with an active family to play with me and take me on walks. Because Im a nice, medium size, I could probably do well with school aged kids as young as 5 or 6, especially if they are comfortable around dogs. Due to my breed, a single-family home with a fenced yard would be ideal. Kinda like when I was in the shelter, Im just waiting for my perfect family. Is that you? . If you're looking for a middle-aged gal who is well past her crazy puppy stage and yet has great energy and LOTs of love to give, then look no further! Ready to pick me?!? If so, please complete an adoption application and our journey begins. Love,Maggie Maggieis located in our foster home in Aurora. To meet this Beauty, please complete an adoption application at: https://treasuredanimalrescueinc.org/application-dog-adoption/ Sorry, Treasured Animal Rescue does not adopt out of the State of Illinois Thank you for choosing to adopt! Story
Wilson is a 3 year old male husky/collie mix, his previous foster believed that he is also mixed with greyhound. He is around 55-60lbs. He is very friendly, playful and energetic. He loves cuddles and being the center of attention. Wilson loves to play and run around outside, he can be outside all day if given the opportunity. He loves to play with any squeaky toy and chewing on his bone. While he is very energetic, he is still very gentle with kids. He has spent some time with smaller dogs so he will be a great addition to any family that already has a pet. He will run away so a home with a fence will be the best for him. He is very quiet and almost never barks. He gets very excited when he meets new people or other dogs! We have enjoyed so much having him in our home, we will miss him very much but unfortunately we will be moving to a home where he will not have a yard to run around in. We hope he finds a loving home that will take care of him and give him all the love he deserves. His adoption fee is $225. To meet this dog, please call Teri at 630-897-7454.
