Story
Chevelle is a young, about 3 yrs old, female husky shepherd mix.  She is full of animation.  If her blue eyes don't put a smile on your face, then her liveliness certainly will.  Chevelle is fully potty trained and crate trained.  She has amazing recall to come inside (clearly from the shepherd) and understand basic commands.  She has not chewed or destroyed anything when left to wander the house.  Chevelle will get the zoomies when playing with other dogs, but the husky in her will get a bit vocal when first introducing her to new dogs.  She has not been tested with cats.  And she would do best with older children as her zoomies may not do well with toddlers.  As a husky she does have a lot of fur that will need to be maintained on a regular basis.  She is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500 To adopt Chevelle, email us at kakf3133@gmail.comNovember 27, 2024, 11:48 pm

Story
Introducing Gato! Our biggest cat we have! Just kidding... Gato is a 75 pound Lab/Husky mix that still has some room to fill out. Gato is approximately 1 years old so he could benefit from some training and a large backyard to burn off energy in. Gato is full of silly antics that shine through in his charming personality. He loves going for walks and wrestling with friends. Gato is dog friendly but enjoys wrestling with his buddies so much that we are looking for a home without cats or young kids at this time (kids 5+ okay). His adoption fee is $235, which includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and neuter.

Story
Hi there, my name is Maggie, and I am 7-year-old Siberian Husky. I'm quite the beauty with my all-white fur and striking ice-blue eyes! Im a nice medium size at 45lbs. My fur is all white with just a hint of tan. When I first came into my foster home I went to the doggie beauty salon, aka Groomer. My pretty coat didn't get a good brush out in a long time. I was so patient when the Groomer brushed me. She said I was the best Husky she ever had. Well of course I was! I'm the best at everything! Plus, she made me really pretty! My Owner brought me to a local shelter when they couldn't take care of me anymore. One day a Treasured Animal Rescue Volunteer was walking through all the dog kennels and stopped at my kennel. She asked the AC worker about me. I left that day because my Rescuer said no pretty dog needs to behind bars. She needs to be in a home. So even though I'm in a foster home that's ok because I'm waiting for my new family to come meet me. Now, I'm in a foster home I have dogs & cats as my friends, and I do well with them. I am interested in the cats and like to sniff them, but I never chase them. My doggie friends and I play. I'm a good role model for the younger dogs. I like to play with puppies and I can keep up with the younger pups. Yes, even at 7 years old! Im pretty good on a leash. When I go on a walk, I dont pull. If youre looking for a walking buddy, I would LOVE to take walks with you! I know some basic commands and I really enjoy the company of humans. I just want to be with my humans and get lots of petting. I like to watch TV with my foster Mom. I let her choose the channels. Doesn't matter with me what show just as long as she rubs my belly! I get really comfy on the couch and I don't sit very ladylike but hey, gals got to get comfy! I am very good with kids. I've been around kids and I like when they pet me. I love when anyone pets me. I act silly. I roll over on my back for belly rubs. I take treats very well from everyone. I SIT like a good girl and wait for my yummy treat. Sometimes, I'm picky on my treats. My foster home has a fenced yard, and some areas are 4' and 6'. I don't try to jump over the fence. Why would I even try to jump a fence when I have it so good here? But there's notes in my intake paperwork that my original owner had me on a tie out and I did escape. Can you image a Husky escaping a yard? Maybe my next home will have a fenced yard. I'm a quiet girl. The only time I make any noise is when I have to alert you, I have to go do my business. First, I will do little circles around the door or in front of you and if that doesn't catch your attention then I will do a little woo woo. That's my signal "I gotta go!". This Lady is a true Lady! More on my little circles. My foster Mom calls them my ballerina dances. When I get happy (which is a lot) I do my little circle dances. It looks like I'm doing pirouettes - like a Ballerina. But I don't have any ballerina slippers. That would be silly. But maybe with all my pirouettes I can find a spot in the Joffrey Ballet Theater. That would be funny! Once a week I go to doggie daycare so I can meet new friends. They first put me in the oldie section. How dare they!! 7 is the new young. The doggie care place realized I've got some spunk so I played with the young in's all day. I even got a new boyfriend. He's a Husky just like me but just a different color. If you're looking for a middle-aged Lady who is well past her crazy puppy stage and yet has great energy and LOTs of love to give, then look no further! Ready to pick me?!? If so, please complete an adoption application and our journey begins. Love,Maggie Maggieis located in our foster home in Aurora.
