You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Maxwell is the happiest Husky mix ever!  He is around 50lbs and we were told he is a pomsky from his owner.  He is housebroken, great on a leash, loves other dogs and all the people.  He is very smart and would be a great candidate for agility classes and would love a jogging partner.  He has energy to spare.  He needs a fenced in yard because he loves to run (min 4ft fence but 6 is preferred).  He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.   His adoption fee is $500 To adopt Maxwell, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/formsVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 3, 2025, 11:42 am

Koda is a handsome mini Husky/Shepherd mix who’s about 6 months old and still under 20 pounds, making him the perfect medium-size-in-the-making pup! Over the past week, his foster has watched him blossom from a shy guy into a playful, energetic puppy who’s really coming into his own. Koda loves his stuffed toys and enjoys tennis balls and pickleballs—though he prefers chewing on them rather than playing fetch. Like many puppies his age, he’s in the “fingers and toes are fascinating” phase and can be a little nippy, but he’s learning quickly. Curious yet cautious, Koda enjoys exploring his surroundings and also loves cuddles, pets, and hanging out with his people. He’s doing great with potty training and has been good about letting his foster know when he needs to go outside. Koda is learning sit and stay and practices his manners at mealtime by sitting (and staying) before getting his food. He does wonderfully in his crate—no trouble going in or staying in, minimal whining, and no destructive chewing. With his sweet personality, growing confidence, and eagerness to learn, Koda is an amazing puppy who’s ready to thrive in a loving forever home! Rogue is a fun, loving, and energetic girl with all the charm you’d expect from a husky. She knows her basic commands, sit, paw, lie down, and stay, and she’s both crate-trained and potty-trained. She enjoys running, going on walks, and gets excited when meeting new people, always hoping for a friendly pet. At home, she’s the sweet dog who’ll sit next to the person most likely to share a bite of dinner. Rogue loves to play, loves attention, and will gladly curl up beside you for scratches. She has a bright, spirited personality and a warm, loyal nature that makes her a wonderful companion.

Loki is a sweet and friendly 4-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix looking for his forever home. He’s wonderful with children and loves meeting new people. Loki currently lives with two senior dogs and gets along well with them, so he could be a great addition to a multi-dog household as well. He’s playful, affectionate, and enjoys walks, and belly rubs. He would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of attention and love. Loki is healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to bring joy and loyalty to his new home.

Cubby is more than just a dog he’s been my loyal companion, playful adventurer, and truly my best friend. It’s an unfortunate and difficult decision to let him go, but I don’t have the support to care for him the way he deserves because he’s amazing. He loves to talk in his sleep, run in circles, roll in the grass or snow, go on car rides, and soak up all the attention he can get. He will always hold a piece of my heart, and I know his next family will feel as lucky as I have to have him in their life.
