Story
Quinn is an approximately ten month old male. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He walks really well on a leash and is walked every day. Husky's have energy and are typically athletic and known escape artists. We think husky's do well with a high fence around the yard if left outside to play, and plenty of walking, running, hiking, or places to burn energy otherwise such as dog parks. This will help a lot to have a happy home with a husky. He is also verbal when he hears someone from another room and would like their attention, that's a husky trait, so no apartments for Quinn. He is doing well with house training when he is taken out consistently. He's still a pup and will need to finish training with his new house rules of where to go, how often, and you'll need to learn his signals as well. He is smart and learns fast. He is beautiful and friendly, and loyal to his people, but we have not had him around children at this time. If you are familiar with the breed and ready to welcome him home, please email citizensanimalrescue@gmail.com for an application. We are located at 609 East 5th Street, Tilton, Il 61865. Please contact 217-799-8858 or 217-655-4353 with any questions.

Story
Kush is a 9 year old female Siberian Husky that has been at the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County (AWL) since 8/15/2021 (1,073 days / 2 years, 11 months). That is WAY to long! Let`s find Kush a furrever home before she hits her 3 year anniversary at the shelter! Kush LOVES going for walks, playing fetch, running zoomies in a fenced yard, and being showered with love/treats! Kush is dog selective. Kush is spayed and up to date on all of her shots. Kush is looking for her best friend. Could that be you? Kush is available for adoption, to foster, or just simply going out for walks. Come say hi!
